Temptation is a Sin
I walked into the cold, stone halls of my prison.
My eyes were heavy and damp.
My ears alert.
My arms heavy.
My head clouded.
And yet my legs carried on strong and proud.
Monstrous beings bustled in and out of the entrance and exit at once.
They whispered and murmured.
Eyes looking at me in disdain.
Fingers pointed in my direction. However, I did not care.
My mind was focused on one thing.
Her.
She waited for me in a secluded area where few come to trade for her goods.
She was alone. She greeted me with her shining dark exterior.
She was decorated with lettering of red and buttons of numerals.
I stared at her.
She teasingly waved her goods infront of me.I only stared in anguish. She wanted something.
And I had it. But did I really need to give up my only source of life?
Yes.
In a hurry, a pulled out my treasure of green and greed.
I gently lean it towards her and she snatches it in blissful greed. She drops my desired goods.
A packet of candy.Just one.
For five bucks.I shakily take the new-found treasure off the ground.
I tore it open in greed and soon to be gluttony.
She watches me with mirth and greed in her eyes.
She knows she has me trapped.
She knows she can milk me out of my savings. And She knows I cannot resist her.
And She knows I'm aware of it.
For I am trapped in the temptation of the Demoness.
The temptation of the Vending Machine.
