"How far behind are you?" Snake asked me over the radio.

"Just up on the ridge above you, maybe you should work on your ponytail, looks a bit loose." I said to him with a chuckle.

He pulled at his hair to tighten it as DD watched him, we continued walking around till we came across some old looking ruins.

"This place looks old yet tranquil, be a perfect spot to camp for a night." Snake said.

"Yeah, looks like there are a few spots for a good vantage point too." I added.

DD suddenly stopped and began growling, my reflex's kicked in and I immediately dropped to one knee and swung my Renov rifle over my shoulder and into position to get a good look at our surroundings.

"You see anything?" Snake asked as he calmed DD down.

I continued looking till I saw a small glint on top of the large ruins in the middle of the area. I zoomed my scope in to get a better look and what I saw confused me. But I watched as she loaded a bullet into her rifle and put Snake's head in her sights.

"Sniper!" I called out.

I fired a shot at the sniper and quickly moved away to not give myself away as Snake and DD dove into cover to avoid the snipers bullet.

"You there Y/N?" He asked as I set up at another vantage point.

"Hostile sniper in the field, her shots are good but I think I was able to peg her before I moved." I answered him.

"Where?"

"Tall arch in the middle."

"Is he still there?"

I looked through my scope, I expected to see a body lying there but I couldn't see anything, not even a rifle.

"No visual, she's on the move." I informed Snake.

"She?" He asked.

"Got a look at her before I called out."

"So this must be that deadly sniper the Russians have been talking about." Ocelot noted over the radio.

"They call her "Tixji", she's been taking out high profile Russian soldiers over the past few months." Kaz informed us.

"We're in for the long haul Snake." I said to him.

"Be careful you two, if she's even a sliver as deadly as the Russians say you need to be on your toes." Kaz warned us.

"We'll be careful." Snake said to Kaz.

I leaned around the corner out on of the window arches and looked down my scope to try and spot the sniper again but I couldn't find her, so she clearly knew how to disappear into thin air.

"Spotted her?" Snake asked me.

"No visual, she's disappeared." I said.

"I'm moving to different cover."

"I'll keep an eye out."

Snake and DD began to move to another bit of cover as I kept a look out, as they were about to make it to cover the sniper revealed herself from thin air, she shimmered into place right in front of me. I fired a shot at her and kept watch to make sure she didn't disappear this time, the bullet impacted her shoulder but instead of blood spewing out from the wound she was knocked back and screamed out in pain then disappeared again.

"Did you kill her?" Ocelot asked.

"Negative, she has supernatural abilities, she's disappeared again." I said as I moved to the archway vantage point.
