I hope all of the baddies, reading enjoy this request. It'll be about internalized racism and colorism. Oh, let me explain the definition for those of you who doesn't know what it means.

Internalized racism is when someone of color who is oppressed against his/her self or the oppressor. For example, y'all heard about the black girl who came on the Dr. Phil show, and she was convinced she was a white girl. She downgraded African Americans, complaining about their ears, face, and looks. But, ain't her ass black to, the hell?!

Colorism is when a different skin complexion is praised than another skin complexion. Don't get me started about the lightskin and darkskin preferences. Not saying people can't prefer what skin color they like, but please watch what you say about them. In my opinion, I think lightskins previously had gotten a lot of attention just because they were lighter..which isn't a valid reason.

Now, this year a lot of people feel pulled towards brown and dark skin women. I don't judge at all! Light, brown, dark women are all beautiful to me! I personally am attracted to brown and dark men, I just feel that way, but I'm not saying light skins are hideous, I just prefer that. And that's on Periodt!😘

Don't go to social media, out here down grading nobody about they skin complexion, like no, just stop! We all black, melanin, and black is beautiful! So don't start.🙄

The lame dark jokes, I kept hearing as a kid..

"You look like when the tv is turned off!"

"Shut yo black ass up!" I– Hold on, I though you had a black ass to though?🧐

"Yo she/he is mad dark!"

"Dark skin girls always have an attitude"

I'm going to address these comments the most respectful way I can, light skins have attitudes as well, all black girls of color have attitudes, periodt! So don't come at me talking about my attitude!

If you see a dark skin person that is darker than you are– just stop! Your black as well! You came from a black mother or father too! So what's really your motive?

Do not compare a dark skin person to the TV! Please don't do it! Because when you turn you tv on you get color right? Yeah so shut the up! Sorry, I'm feeling this topic way too much.

I'm not mentioning this to offend no one, but if you see someone who's being bothered because of their complexion, step in and tell them what's right!

Oh yeah, shout out to my brown & dark skinned women! Skin just like pearls, I wouldn't trade you for any one else!

All black folks in general are stunning!
