Chapter 2- Quinn

Saturday, March 4

10:00 PM

Nashville Tennesse Airport

It had been a short ride to the airport, and Jac and Maggy spent the entire time with our heads stuck out the window like dogs on a car ride. While the rest of the band and our manager began to prepare for the hordes of fans waiting for us at the airport. The car began to slow down as we approached the small Nashville airport. Growing up in Nashville had been great, and it was great to be back, even if it was just for a little bit. I loved seeing how drastically it had grown. The door opened and I was hit with a wave of screams as our bodyguards began to push their way through the crowd, paving a clear path for us to walk. This was the easiest part of the trip, and we all climb out of the car stopping only to let the local news reporters take pictures. Then began the real journey, as we made our way out of airport security, and into the main part of the airport, things began to get crazy. Shouldering out bags we started towards our gate with only a few crazed fans following behind. We made it to our gate and took seats near the windows. We were then greeted by around 10 security people sent to travel with us to New York where the real crowd would be. After a short wait we where all ushered on to a small plane with around 10 to 20 other passengers. The ride was quite long and ended with Jac, Willa, and Maggy, and I am trying to make a tik tok and epically failing at it.

"3 minutes until landing" the captain's voice rang over the speaker.

All six members fell silent, as our manager Kelsey began to talk.

"Now ladies the last text I received said that there are around 100,000 galaxies at the airport."

We all looked at each other for a minute then Annie spoke up, "It's gonna be fine, we're in this together."

She grabbed Alec's hand, as the plane set down and the captain said: "Welcome to New York and have fun".

Slowly we made our way out of the plane. With me in front followed closely by Alec and Annie. Behind us Willa, Jac and Maggy being followed closely by Kelsey and our design team. We exited through the tunnel and were greeted by yet another group of airport security. Fans were everywhere as four of our bodyguards made a tight circle around Alec and Willa and the rest stood by each person's side as we traveled. As we made our way out into the main hall the crowds got bigger people began to come closer and closer. So close that I can feel people pulling on my sweatshirt and as I look up I see fans being pushed away from us. I feel hands grab my sweatshirt hood and pull me backward I only ignore it as our bodyguards push people off and away. No matter how many times I am talked to by Kelsey, I always attempt to interact with the fans, but all I can do is wave. We only stop to pose for news reporters and I see Alec, Willa, and Annie separate from the group. I want to ask what's happening but at the moment as we walked out the door an abundance of hands grabbed at Maggy.
