AHOOL:
The largest of the bat species. They have the body similar to a humans with the rest of the features of a bat. They are, in some countries, considered a species of dragon, yet they do not have all the requirements to be one. They are found scattered around the colder places of Canada, Iceland, the edges of South America, and Asia. They all hunt at night and sometimes come in small colonies of three or four. Their primary source of food is unsuspecting cows, pigs, and sometimes humans. So far, there is no escape from one of these beasts, and if one attacks, their prey will be ripped open from the stomach for the creature to feast upon their hearts, stomachs, and other vital organs. Only one has managed to kill one of these, this being an accident from a pilot, who had accidentally crashed their plane into it, when the Ahool was hunting. Yet, the crash was fatal to the pilot as well. One passenger survived the crash, but lived long enough to send a distress message, telling about the crash. They later died on the rescue helicopter because of severe brain damage. I would suggest when in the area of where sightings have been, to be as quiet as you can, and hide behind a lot of trees until you are out of the territory.
AMAROK:
A large beast with the embodiment of a wolf. They are lone hunters who live deep in the forests of the Amazon and Taiga, preying on foolish beings who dare venture out alone. They are very little in numbers, considering how large they make their territories. No being has managed to hunt one of these magnificent creatures. Though, it is large in size, that makes up for it's small brain. They are very fast and agile, but they are easily distracted by the smallest things. If one were to hunt and kill one of these, they would most definitely get out of there with large gashes in their bodies and wouldn't live much longer, due to blood loss. Their shaggy fur would make a good fur coat, however. Their fur is so thick, one layer of it can keep one warm in the coldest of winters, down to thirty degrees Celsius. This is a creature you would not enjoy an encounter with. Thankfully, It's territory will have a very distinct scent, so when in the Amazon and Taiga, stay away from their territory and you will be safe.
AMPHIPTERE:
Our first dragon of the list. A dragon without arms or legs, and only move around by slithering or flying. They are most often seen completely covered in feathers with a sharp tail. They aren't much of a threat, though they look like they can be dangerous. They aren't the best at flying, and are pretty clumsy. Most of the time they will be sleeping in their caves around eastern Europe. Not many humans have died from a bite from these creatures, considering they are too big of a prey to eat. They mainly eat small cattle, and can even be trained to do tricks. A very happy kind of dragon with a bit of clumsiness, they might even make good pets...
BANSHEE:
These pesky creatures often live in old castle dungeons, and are scavengers, though they are very smart. They can scream to a pitch so high even the thickest class will break. Not much trouble, unless they are screaming.
BASILISK:
You could call these the lion of Northeastern Europe. This dragon has a physical crown made from it's frills. Though it is thought they do not breathe fire, they do have a defense similar: the basilisk can spit dangerous acid, capable of melting the strongest of wood. They do also have a deadly bite of a pit viper. It's venom has no cure, but you can survive it. The least it can do is shrivel your skin up making you look elderly, the most it can do is kill you. It breathes in all the oxygen around it, so if it is hard to breathe in areas, it'd be best to stay away. If you get any closer, they can notice your presence, and they are very smart. They know that sounds can set anyone running in the other direction, so if you hear its hiss, go toward the sound, because they use that sound and then circle to the other side catching it's prey. They do not have the best eyesight, but it's sense of smell is phenomenal. Even if you were to escape, it could still smell you out. They mostly live around hot springs or open spaces in forests. Those are the places to stay away from those areas in Northeastern Europe.
