Chapter 4: The tribute parade (part 2)

Hey guys!!! sorry there hasnt been anything up for awhile i just got back from a 1 week camp and ive been busy and stuff so yeah i hope you all enjoy.

I walk into our room and I freeze in amazement, A long ravishing dress with a mixture of gold and platinum, There are long strands of cloth going of and on towards the arms, I mean I have seen some amazing dresses in my 18 years of life, but this was definitely the best.

"It's Amazing!" I scream, I nearly go to tears it truly is an amazing work of art.

"It is isn't it!" Contaria says in a high pitched voice.

"What's it made of? where did you get it? how much was it?" I bombard her with questions.

"The capitol loves its fashion.''

I give her a face showing my excitement, and at the same time a gesture that implies me getting to try it on, Contaria simply nod's in response.

10 minutes later...

I walk out and the entire District 1 team is there watching me as I come out, I hear a collective deep breath turn into multiple ''whooos'' and ''ahhh's'' I do different poses and spin around acting as girly as possible.

"You look amazing" Contaria say's, She looks back at the rest of the team and they all nod and agree almost instantly, Although I do look amazing in this Beautiful golden weaves of fabric and material running down the dress, the colours of shined all the time In the dark, the light  and apparently through Eclipse's, Which is an extremely popular event in the capitol, because of many reasons, off the top of my head I know religion and politics, For reasons I do not know though.

"It's perfect Contaria, I absolutely love it!" I say, then hug her.

"That's great! The Tribute parade is tonight so It would be good to have some time to get used to it and get used to, Oh yes I nearly forgot.." She finishes.

She then brings out  some sort of crown with gold painted all over it, it also has thick golden wool coming off it in all directions, Shiny gold wool. It is huge and I begin to wonder if it will fit on my head with that size. Contaria brings out a torch with some sort of blue light and shines it on the crown and the crown sparkles with a golden shine, It is truly amazing.

“Oh my, its amazing, Contaria I don't know what to say.'' I say.

''Ohh I know but that's not all.'' she begins.

She then pulls out of a bag a pair of high heel shoes, They are the tallest shoes I have ever seen! They have a strong shade of golden and platinum, they are simply amazing.

"Anything else?" I ask letting out a laugh.

''I think that's it" She replies with a long smile.

''What about Magnus, what is he wearing?'' 

"He is wearing a golden suit with with the same shades and colours but in a suit but with the same crown, We are going for The winning district look this year, Although I'm pretty certain that district 1 will be the winner this year.'' 

Magnus walks in right after that.

''Contaria you are amazing! I love my costume, its amazing!'' He says, Smiling rigorously, That's definitely the first time I have seen him smile in quite a while, Magnus isn't much of a smiler, which is a shame, he has a beautiful smile.

"I'm glad you love it Magnus, it took me quite a while to get everything done.'' She says.

''Well its truly amazing.'' giving her a hug, a hug, it seems like more then a greeting in the Capitol, Back in district 1 it may just be a simple greeting or it may just be a way to show how much you love somebody, but they hug weird here it confuses me. I swear, if I win I'm not staying here in the capitol, I don't like it here, I just like district 1, that's my home, it will always be my home.
