A/N: This is just quick look as to what's to come. Also the general vibe of the sister series can be felt with these sneak peeks I hope.

The Agony: Carmen
Making my way through our abode for the night I climbed up a set of stairs. The house had a certain chill that made it creepy as fuck honestly. And of all times there could be a bump in the night i'd be on watch. Clutching my mace tighter I heard that same scuffing sound coming from above me. Fiddling with my flashlight I turned it on, peering up at the attic door. This is exactly how people died in horror movies.
"Fuck me." I cursed quietly.
"You're a big and macho man Carmen." I assured myself, being the equivalent to a short beanstalk as I wasn't super tall or muscly.
I hopped up, catching the string that pulled the attic door open, the ladder falling out clumsily as I caught it as to not wake my friends. I gingerly scaled the ladder, flashlight clutched in my mouth. The scraping sound didn't cease as I entered the attic.
Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck! That word repeated in my head as my heart raced in my chest as I scanned the dusty surroundings of the attic. And then I saw it, a tall and gaunt figure swaying in a phantom breeze like a leaf.
"What the fuck!" I screamed in terror, stumbling back and tripping over some damned kid's toy. Darkened skin from what I guessed was the disease made it hard to see as I dropped my flashlight. I stumbled away, clumsily descending the ladder as I knocked my flashlight down to the ground below.
"Carmen! What's going on?!" My brother Jeremy called, stumbling out of a room with messy bed-hair.
Voice quivering too much to speak I pointed at the attic as the nightmarish creature poured down it in an unnatural and slow fashion like black tar head-first as I stumbled back, tripping once again. Way to be the bimbo in movies Carmen! The creature moved fluidly before me as a ghostly groan emanated from its withered body. Jeremy was locked in place too, unable to move just like me. The creature was headed for me as my felt an overwhelming sensation of fear. I could sneeze and knock this creature over. Why couldn't I move?! Gnarled fingers with odd claw-like extensions gently clasped over my throat. The pressure was so light as I felt like I was staring at death itself had me questioning if I was dreaming or not.
Though before I could be strangled by this murderous skeleton a spear impaled it from behind. Nami heaved the creature aside, freeing me from the odd trance i'd been left in.
"Are you alright?" Jeremy asked, scooping me up into his arms as I was still stunned. What the hell was that thing?
"Y-yeah." I stammered, clearing my throat as I stared up at the attic.
"How did that get in here?" Nami inquired, seeming like it was more so for herself.
"It was a bag of bones that nearly killed you. Gross." Derrick scoffed, a contemptuous look stoking some instant anger.
"Fuck off." I spat back with an eyeroll.

Sing To Me: Nami
I sat crouched before the dead bodies of my parents and little brother. I was too late even though we'd rushed here to get to them. My hands were covered in their blood as I was forced to put them to rest. Tears slipped down my cheeks and down to sting a bite wound on my collar bone. I'd join them soon with a little more time. I looked to the angry snarl frozen across my mother's face, shutting my eyes and trying to remember her voice. The only thing that came to mind was those moments a song we both loved came on and we'd sing together in the car.
"Mommy sing to me." I sobbed softly, my heart feeling like it was being torn apart in my chest as I waited for the infection to take hold.
I pressed on singing along to the song. My father and brother would chime in too. That warm and fuzzy feeling coming back as I recalled those happy times. Things were so sad and scary now. What I wouldn't do to get them back. I laid there on the bloodstained carpet for I don't know how long until I heard footsteps approach me.
"Are you okay sis?" Carmen asked laying down on the carpet beside me as I looked over at him.
I could see the pain I felt reflecting in his calm brown eyes as he reached out and caressed my jaw.
"I don't know if my dad is okay either." Carmen offered, his gaze dropping.
"I really hope so. I haven't been able to call him since we don't have signals anymore." He sighed softly, leaning up as he tugged me up beside him.
"But our parents would want us to be okay. And to look after one another if something ever happened to them." He tacked on.
"I'll join mine soon enough." I revealed, my voice shaky as I tugged down the collar of my shirt just a bit to reveal a bitemark.
"I... I'm sorry Nami." Carmen instantly replied, tears welling up in his eyes.
"Its okay." I said weakly, offering him the smallest of smiles. I didn't know if I could do this.
