-they didn't leave the academy

(Yuki's POV)

"Yuki, are you ready to find out what your new ability is?"i turned around and smiled at my older brother, which made Ruka roll her eyes at me.

"Uh huh."

"Alright, close your eyes and take deep breathes. try to listen to your own body only.......the sound of your heart, the blood moving through your veins....try to find a strong energy force within you...then concentrate on that and only that."i did what he told me to and eventually, i felt something coursing through my body,it felt so amazing and powerful.

"Kaname senpai what's happening." I heard Ruka shout over a loud noise that sounded like the wind but it didn't feel at all windy......i opened my eyes and found myself glowing blue and three feet off the ground, i screamed.

"Yuki! don't panic....focus on that power, command it to stop!" i tried to do what Kaname said but it was too hard, i couldn't focus, i was too scared to.

"Nii-san! help me!"

"Yuki just stay calm!"

"Lord Kaname we must get you away from here, you could get hurt." i recognized the voice belonging to Aido. i began feeling dizzy and i was having a hard time keeping my eyes open, my eye lids began feeling too heavy and i closed my eyes and allowed sleep to take over.

..................................................About Twenty years into the Future.................................................

"Ki...Uki....Yuki...." i woke up to hearing Nii-san's voice and being carried by him.

"Nii-san? what....what happened?"

"Your stupid ability sent us into the future that's what!" Ruka seemed mad.....what did she say?

"What?"

"It appears that your ability is time travel." i lifted my head up and looked around. there were destroyed and burnt down buildings everywhere, along with several burnt down trees and there wasn't any grass.

"Where are we? what's happened here?" i asked as Nii-san set me down.

"I don't know but it doesn't seem like it had just happened." we began walking around the abandoned and destroyed buildings when i screamed.

"Yuki sweetie what's wrong!" i had heard kaien but i was too shocked to answer, instead i just pointed. while walking i had found the one thing that wasn't destroyed, a sign that read 'Welcome to Cross Academy' the others came soon after.

"Wha...what happened to the academy?" no one answered him and i watched as my adopted father dropped to the ground, sobbing. i felt the tears run down my face but i quickly wiped them away.

"We should try to find someone who can give us the year and maybe even tell us what has happened." Just then tons of humans, Vampire hunters, and a few vampires surrounded us.

"Who are you?!......what are you doing here?!"

"Where from the past and we can't get back until my sister is strong enough to use her ability again."
