Screwed up head
Messed up mind
Scarred up arms
Let's rewind

7 years old
Innocent and sweet
Surrounded by lies
Right beneath her feet

8 years old
Again, she's moving
If she knew her fate
She wouldn't be thriving

9 years old
Seemingly unchanged
Sadly, it won't last
Burning her wide-minded range

10 years old
She's started to see truth
She doesn't like it
So she hides under her caving roof

11 years old
Her friends decided to leave her
She's developed an eating disorder
Because they didn't like her weight either

She doesn't remember why
All she know is she did
After only a week
She became addicted to self-harm's gig

12 years old
And suffering from depression
She fell in love with him
And he gave her the same impression

But it was all just lies
The same that came from her father
She's hardly ever sober
So everything becomes a blur

13 now
And her sister is gone
She wonders how she left
How did she move on

She ended up telling
That boy she still loved him
She tried to kill herself
When she realized she'd never win

She hates all the words
She hates all the pain
She hates all the people
Only enjoys the rain

She still suffers
From those horrible things
Sees those "friends" in hallways
And the agony they bring

Cries every night
Because she can't talk to him
Blood spill all the time
She's breaking the rim

She can't even breathe
She can't think or sleep
She's starving to be perfect
Because nobody wants a girl that's weak

All she wants is for him to be happy
But he's happiest when she's gone
She can't live without him
No one told her she was wrong

So one final sleep
Put her to rest
She was so tired
Of trying to be best

Mother said there were angels
Father showed there wasn't
She didn't care as long as she was free
She'll still love him, even if he doesn't

"So young"
"So sweet"
"Wonder what happened"
"Wonder who she'll meet"

Those were the whispers
In the air after she left
She's cured though
Of that hole in her chest

Of course, she'll be missed
But at least she's not here
I don't understand how
She was so aware

Aware of all the pain
And aware of all the people
Aware that it can't be fixed
Not because of a steeple

She ended her life
Because she couldn't fix it
But she taught a lesson
To live until you mend can't it
