"Oh please, honey! I really will miss you!" My mother begs.
"Mom! I need to breathe!" I reminded her, my mother loosened her bear hug.
Only ever so slightly though.
"Please be safe!"

I wake up, man. I must be homesick already, last night was my third day in Yokohama. The city is beautiful, I bought a small apartment to live in for a meantime. Just as I finish off my studies and find work, then it will be the perfect time to relax and begin living. Not as a student, but another part of life. 3 days ago I moved to Yokohama for better education and a potential modeling career. Although I'm studying 4 majors just in case the modeling career does not work out. I let out a sigh, I must miss my mother already. I was already dreaming about the last time I would see her at some time. I get up, preparing for a first of school.
I walk past my desk, noticing a picture of my mother, father, and I. My father, he died a few years back of cancer. It hurts, if my modeling career does not sail, I plan to become a doctor as plan B. To find a cure for heart cancer, the thing that caused my father to die. My father was half Japanese, while my mother was British. Making me what they call a mix in Asian culture. I scroll around Youtube to find a new trend, number neighbors. It's where you text the number below yours, for example. 647 647 647, then their number neighbor could be 647 647 649 or 647 647 646. This seems interesting enough, I decide to check my number for a moment. Let's text the higher number neighbor.
"Hey, number neighbor! Wanna chat?" I texted friendly, not at all expecting an answer.
Better get to class.
---
I walk out of class, only to witness something insane. There was a man tiger and a man with bangs and white tips. They both were fighting, the man with black and white hair had a demonic like tentacle thing sprout out from his back. I stand there, in total shock. How the heck?! W-What is that?! I almost drop my school bag into the floor when the tiger boy was thrown into the wall above me, I crouched down. Dodging the hit.
"You need to get to safety." The tiger boy said.
He seems about my age, 18 or 19. I really can't tell that much when he is covered in fur, but his voice sounds the part.
"U-Uh o-okay!" I quickly replied, bolting away from the scene.
"What the heck is that?!" I said out loud while running.
I run far away into a small cafe, where bystanders from the area I was in also came for shelter, they all seemed shocked.
"There are rumors that they are the Armed Detective Agency." I a couple behind me whisper.
I turn around, looking at them for a moment.
"What's that?" I asked quietly.
"It's a group run by people with superhuman abilities, no one is sure if they are real." The female replied.
"That was probably some Youtube prank, lots of newcomers play that." The guy said in disbelief of the situation.
Just then, I heard my phone dig. I open my bag, confused. Is it my mom? I check the phone, almost swiping the text away, before realizing it. it was my number neighbor! I unlock my phone, they replied!
'Number Neighbour? Like the number a digit away from yours?'
My Number Neighbour asked I texted back quickly.
'Yeah! I wanna see where this goes!' I replied.
'Hmm, hold on. Two people are fighting, I gotta break them up.' They replied.
