"We've loved... We've cried..." The man with brown, short hair said, dressed in a black skintight shirt and black, baggy shorts, he had a sheathed sakaba sword at his waist. He wore sandals aswell. "We learn to climb over obsticales in life..." He continued, standing infront of 2 caskets. The first labeled "Itami" and was in a bed of Sakura Petals, unopened. Then, sitting beside it was another casket, labeled "Ute" it also lied in a bed of Sakura petals, unopened. "Some are hard.. Some are easy... And some you just can't overcome..." He continued, onstage infront of only 6 people. They gazed at him as he continued, completely focused. "Then you fall a long way. But eventually... you get back up! And that... is what we call life! But sometimes... Those who don't get back up... they... they pass on. And go into a world of eternal piece and goodness. Amen." He said. The crowd repeated after him. Then, he walked off the stage, the boy with Emerald Green eyes and Jet black hair, who wore a black cloak with a symbol of a katana through a pentagram on the back of the cloak, it was crimson. He stepped up onto stage and cleared his throat, adjusting the microphone. "I swore to Ute... And Itami... I swore on their graves... That I'd kill every single one of those undead! And I shall fulfill their wills! Both of them! And I don't care what it takes!!" He said, a smile appearing on his face as he walked over to the caskets and opened them. In Ute's casket was his cold, dead body, with a smile on his face. The same smile that was there when he died. He had closed eyes. The boy held back tears, then opened Itami's, revealing a drawing by the boy himself of Itami. The boy shed tears and then turned and walked back to the microphone, putting his hand to his heart. "Long... Live... Humanity!!" He called out. Everybody in the crowd made the same gesture. They all shed tears.
It was yet, another month later. Everybody had gotten settled and Shokan had moved into the dormitories, aswell. They were all settled and slowly resuming their lives. Yami had began waking Jiyu up again, but something was different from when she used to. When she did wake him up, She'd always recieve a tight hug from him, and a smile. The smile she loved to see. Her and Tsukuyomi had become good friends. No, Rivals would be a better word, But they still respected each other greatly. Akatsuki, Renji and Deatta trained everyday, Honing their skills. They hadn't been ambushed by a horde in a while. Well, Until today, that was.
Jiyu breathed heavily, Back to back with Renji as the Variants ran at them, Holding scimitars, spears, bo-staffs, swords, knifes and hammers and pretty much anything else they could use as a weapon. Renji and Jiyu could only defend and were barely making any process. Shokan then ran out of the building, Yami, Deatta, and Akatsuki behind him. His cloak blew behind him with the wind as he ran, While the variants were distracted with Renji and Jiyu, Akatsuki took this chance and sliced 4 heads off from behind. Then, they all ran at the group, trampling over each other, not able to catch themselves. "FLARE!!" Shokan shouted out as Akatsuki, Renji and Jiyu dashed out of the way. The flames coming from Shokans mouth, in an abundant number of swirls and curls of the flames. Then, it stopped and Shokan breathed heavily. Yami manuevered her scythe around her body as the variants ran at her. She sliced right through their necks all in one swing. She was still as good as she had been a long time ago. She had her moves. Then, Tsukuyomi came out, Swinging around her scythe, stabbing it right into the stomach of a variant that ran at her, then, slicing upwards into it's skull, ending it's misery and suffering as she swung her scythe out of it's brittle skull, the blood not even staining her blade. She ran torwards the horde that Jiyu and Renji were handling. Deatta was covering Shokan as he recharged, using her 2 knives to slice the neck of anything that came near him, with lightning quick reflexes. Then, Renji swept a few variants to the ground, taking a risk as he stabbed them, letting his guard against the others that ran at him and Jiyu flow away. The crimson blood flew in the air, Staining Renji's blade as a scythe chopped the heads of those Variants who ran at Renji off. Then, the shadow of a woman with a scythe flipped over Renji, cutting off the heads of the ones that Jiyu handled, Then, they ran over to Deatta and shokan's side. Renji stabbed into the heads from under and behind the variants, While akatsuki handled about 5 all on his own, Throwing down a smoke pellet, then summersalting out of the circle. It had no effect on them, he nodded, keeping this in mind as he then threw some dry ice that was in a plastic water bottle at them, They blew to pieces in a split second of contact. He ran over and sliced a few heads of the ones that were attacking Deatta and shokan. The team sliced enough to create a path for Deatta and Shokan to escape through, which they did. They ran out of the middle and That's when all of the variants lit up. And burst into flames, burning to ashes. When they burnt, Tsukuyomi expected to see Amaterasu behind it. But that's not who she saw. No, This was a girl, with a long, Snow white, ponytail, She stood at 4'8. She held a watergun. Only the difference was, there as a candle taped to it, sticking out so the water would hit the flame, But this wasn't water. No, it had been replaced with oil. This was a homeade flamethrower. And the girl looked no more than 9 or 10 years old. "Hi..." She said in a soft voice. She had another one of those homeade flamethrowers on her back. it was a larger watergun though. "I'm Furea..." They stood there in silence as Amaterasu walked up behind her and patted her head. She turned around and hugged him. "This is my neice." He said, smiling. "Sorry I forgot to tell you she was coming. I told her it was safe around here for now, Guess I was wrong... Heh..." He finished, rubbing the back of her head. In an instant, Yami's eyes gleamed. "SHE'S SO CUTEEEE!!~" She said, running up and hugging her, rubbing her cheek against Furea's. "Oh dear..." Jiyu said, watching as Yami did so. "But... she'd make a great mother..." He thought, smiling. This smile was here for a month. And stayed for a month. It had been 5 months since they left the base. And they were settling in now. It was better. It started to feel.. more... Humane.
