Frances' POV

My name is Frances, I have this huge crush on my best friend Percy Jackson. Our friends and I insist that he dates someone but he said that he already has a girlfriend which we don't believe.

We met 1 year ago, He was this guy who protected me from bullies, he was so cute with his raven hair and sea grean eyes. It was class and we seat next to each other. I kept glancing at him ever 10 minutes to see if he's looking at me.

And one time, I caught him staring that made me blush.

Does he have a crush on me? It could be possible because we hang out everyday. But when summer comes, he dissappears into this camp, we wanted to come with him but he insisted that we weren't allowed or even qualified to come.

We were sitting outside the parking lot after class. I was going to ask him out once and for all, I'm sure he'll say yes.

Even our friends knew I had a crush on him, they keep trying to put us together which failed whenever they do so.

"Hey Perce, can I ask you somethibg?" I asked him.

"Sure" he nodded. This is it, this is the time that I've been waiting for 1 year of my life.

"Do you wanna go--" but I was later cut off from a van that was driven by a boy with messy black hair.

"Hey Kelp Head!" yelled a gothic girl.

The people from the van went out. Percy went to them and greeted them like we weren't even here.

"Who is that?" I go back to our group of friends. They all shrugged because they don't even have a clue.

"Where's Annabeth?" We heard him ask.

"Hey seaweed brain" he turns around and see her. The girl was so beautiful, she has blonde hair with perfect ringlets, her gray eyes observing your every move.

"Wise Girl" Seaweed brain? Wise Girl? what kind of nicknames was that?

"Miss me?" Then he kissed her fully on the lips. My heart broke to millions of peices. Michelle rubbed my back as I force my tears to stop flowing.

"Hey guys!" Percy approached us again with his other friends behind him.

"This are my best friends from camp. Meet Jason, Piper, Thalia, Leo, Nico, The stolls, Clarisse, Frank and Hazel" Woah, they were plenty.

"And meet my amazing smart girlfriend Annabeth" He waved goodbye and went in the huge van with his other friends.

"What just happened?" After that, we never saw Percy again. I haven't moved on since he was my first love. Yeah, suddenly my crush for hin turned into love. But we were never together. He didn't came to graduation and just disappeared.

10 years later...

Until one faithful stroll at the park. I saw him again, with Annabeth this time. Percy were holding a 5 year old girl while Annabeth pushed a baby stroller with a tiny baby boy in it.

I thougth long and hard if I should go to them, but then I thought, Why?. They were a happy family now after 10 years and I couldn't break them apart. I just looked at them one last time and walked away. And that is how I let go of Percy and moved on in my life.
