I reminded myself not to fall again
But my reminder seems to fade
When I knew you a little longer
Then I realized, from the beginning
I'm already falling
It took myself awhile before realizing
You always took my attention
Simple gestures and you made me look
I was falling unconsciously
With a heart breaking beautifully
No one knows the reason
But my heart chooses you for a season
I knew I would forget you
So I will just write a poem for you
Hoping someday you might read it
And appreciate what's written in it
I never knew why I like you
That I was unconsciously falling for you
But one thing for sure
Mentioning you lured my heart
I took the bait
Now creating the art of loving you
