From the manicured hedges, two narrowing eyes filled with hatred and disgust, saw from their vantage point Mr and Mrs Bourne hug and kiss a young girl goodbye.

The eyes narrowed to slits as the girl smiled back and waved at her parents, watching as they drove off of their estate in a jet black limousine.

Slowly, she rose from behind the prickly hedge, savage anger eating at her. She was neither afraid nor worried, in fact, apart from her growing anger, she was just cold.

Cautiously, she snuck up to the mansion, grudgingly admiring the great architectural structure and affluent design before she stepped up onto the stairs and gingerly knocked on the door.

Phase one of her deadly plan was to simply enter the house and locate her target. After two knocks, the big white door opened and a tall robust man stood in the doorway. His chest puffed up, his nose high in the air, until he saw her.

"Ma'am? I could have sworn you were upstairs!" exclaimed the man in the black uniform.

Surprise and confusion registered all over his face as he stood staring at her.

"Geoffrey, who's at the door?" came the voice of a girl seconds after the butler had welcomed the other girl inside and closed the door.

Completely confused and dumbfounded, Geoffrey gaped from one girl to the other, realising to his utter disbelief, that he was seeing double.

That was Geoffrey's last thought, as he felt an overwhelming stab of pain cut into him from behind his back. The pain spread throughout his body quickly, causing him to drop to his knees on the floor immediately, all thought focused on the sharp, debilitating, pain, and the belated sense of danger. Another thrust of a sharp knife and Geoffrey fell over flat onto the floor, dispatched.

The girl in the black smirked evilly, while the girl upstairs screamed her lungs out in abject horror.

Still smirking, she raised purely evil eyes up at her twin, who seemed rooted to the spot as she stared back at her. Tears were in her wide, shocked eyes, her face flushed with the knowledge that evil had infiltrated her once safe world.

Her voice and body visibly trembling, Katie asked, "Why did you do that? Who are you?"

Her words were hoarse and scared, her hands gripping the stair railing as if her life depended on it.

"I, Katie-" the murderess spat the word at her, "Am your sister, Sarah!"

Katie shook her head. "No!"

"I -" Sarah shot her a seething glare as she began to climb the stairs, her knife gleaming with Geoffrey's blood in her right hand "-have been cheated, because of you. Now you are going to pay!"

Her words of hatred propelled Katie into action. Without thinking, Katie flew away from the murderess charging up the stairs after her, her flight instinct going into overdrive at the very real threat coming at her.

Oh God! She thought. This can't be happening!

"Oh come now, sis," Sarah's voice floated towards Katie mockingly. "No one is coming to help you-but me!"

Katie tried not to cry or to breathe too deeply, as she heard Sarah move stealthily from one room to another in search of her.

Katie didn't know what to do; she was still in shock.

This can't be happening! Her mind chanted, even as she heard Sarah call out menacingly to her.

Think Katie! She ordered herself. How was she going to get help without that psycho finding her?
