The Mistress

Chapter 5

I peeked through my eyelids to see the time. 10 am. Not too bad.

I stretched my arms out and hollowed my back feeling my body loosen up. I took in my off white ceiling before my eyes trailed down towards the grey curtains.

I was in no rush today. I smacked my lips together, tasting the foul flavor but that still wasn't enough to get me up right now. I stared at the ceiling for a while, letting the minutes pass by.

My mind wandered back to last night and unconsciously a smile formed on my face. I remembered his handsome face so vividly and his shy smile. He had such kind eyes and a soft laugh that lit up his whole face.

He had me starstruck already. I reached for my phone to check the weather. I felt like going out to eat breakfast or lunch. Depends on how soon I'll get hungry.

Another glance at the clock and it said 10:24 already. I finally reached my phone at the end of the nightstand.

There were a few emails, a couple of messages in the work group chat and a text from Jace.

"Good morning Mistress Elle, I just wanted to say thanks again for bringing me home last night. I hope to see you soon, have a good day. Xx Jace."

I smiled at that. He really was adorable. I quickly thought of what to send back. I could check if he had any lunch plans for today.

"Good morning sweet Jace, how did you sleep? I was wondering if you had any lunch plans for today? I can pick you up and drop you off at work if you want. I'll bring you back in time if needed, I promise 😉. And please just call me Elle

Xx Elle."

I sent the message before getting up out of my big and comfy bed. I headed towards the shower that was attached to my room. I had a quick shower before brushing my teeth and getting ready to start my day.

After I was done with that I put on a simple light yellow dress that really complimented my tone before grabbing my phone. I saw another message from Jace.

" I would like that! My work day is done at 12:30. Any idea on where to go?"

I thought of all my favorite places to go to for lunch and picked the top option.

"I have something in mind. Send me the address and I'll be there at 12:30."

I headed towards my in house office to look at the emails and some other work stuff. A day off is never truly a day off as a business owner.

The location Jace sent me was about twenty minutes away from here so if I left at 12 I'd be perfectly on time.

I worked away some paperwork and before I knew it, the clock already showed a 12. I shut everything off and cleared up my desk before grabbing my phone and heading towards my car.

Driving around, making my way there I realized that the weather was perfect today. Not to hot, not too cold, just perfect.

I arrived at the building at 12:25 so I was pretty on time. I sent a text saying I was out front but he shouldn't rush.

I sent a quick last email before looking up at the entrance as if I sensed him. He walked out in a full suit and it took all my strength not to loose my sanity right there. If he was a snack before he was a whole three course dinner right now, and boy was I starved. I even had a slight tingling in my stomach that made me feel odd.

I got out and walked around the car, to open his door for him. Once he got close enough I pulled him into a warm, soft hug and he wrapped his strong arms around me. "Hi Mis-.. I mean Elle."

I leaned back and gave him a smile, "Hello Jace, get in." He climbed into the car and I softly closed the door behind him.

I got in and started driving towards the restaurant. "How was your day?" I asked him after a brief but comfortable silence.

"It was good, the meeting went well and it was a quiet day. Not much happening. What about yours?" He asked before twiddling his fingers again.

"My day hasn't been very long yet, i filled some paperwork, took care of some inventory and now here we are.
I'm taking you to one of my favorite places. It's a little further away from here but since you're done working I hoped you wouldn't mind" I happily told him.

I could see him shake his head in the corner of my eye. "No it's fine. I'm really excited. " He softly finished.

"Do you have any allergies or anything else I should be aware of? I can always change the location." I wondered. I wouldn't want him to have zero options if he had any sort of allergy or food restrictions.

"No, no allergies and nothing else out of the ordinary." He reassured me. I nodded my head at him and gave him a quick smile. "Alright then. It's going to be a little longer, do you want to play any music ?"

I helped him connect his cellphone bluetooth to the car and soon enough the soft beat of a song started filling the car. I saw his hand lying loosely on his lap and reached for it, holding it in mine. I gave it a soft squeeze before we smiled at each other.
