One Shot Story

Early morning at random traditional market at Malang town, East Java, Indonesia. People busy for shopping daily necessity or buy meals for their breakfast or lunch later. Many shoppers try bargain against vegetable vendor or butcher in order to get lower prices or in order to get best available stock before other customer get it too.

\\\\Sir...how much this cabbage's price?////

\\\\Fresh chicken meat...ladies!!!////

\\\\Can I have those 2 kg tomatoes for Rp 10.000,-?////

\\\\No...This is my cheapest offer.////

\\\\Fresh fruit..mango, banana.////

While other people busy shopping. There a man who rushed into market's entrance and he greet vendors or sellers who pass near him.

\\\\Good morning Bayu....how are you today?////

"Morning, Mr. Imron....looks like you get busy today."

\\\\Hei, Bayu....can I get a large cup of hot 'Tubruk coffee'....I will drop to your place later.////

"I will try to remember it, sir. Please remind me if I forgot it."

\\\\Okay....I will.////

The person named Bayu is an employee of coffee shop called 'Ambrosia coffee' located at one kiosk on east side of the market. The place is well know for locals or vendors hang out place.

\\\\Tap....tap....tap....tap....click.....srrrrrrrraaaaaaagggggg....braakkk//// Bayu open the shop's lock and move rolling door before enter it.

Next, he switch on all light inside the shop, open water pipe tap connection, reheat water boiler, check water volume inside boiler and espresso machine, add water if necessary. He then prepare the espresso machine and coffee grinder. Restock coffee beans inside grinder.

Then, he prepares chairs and tables which has been clean up last night. Wipe each tables. Prepare sugar jar and astray on each table. Lastly, he prepares cups, glasses and snack for customers who will come sooner or later.

Before open, Bayu turn on music player, change into his barista uniform and turn open sign on shop's door. He ready to serves customers.

\\\\CLING...CLING////

Bayu first customer is a vegetable vendor, named Akhmad, who take a break after two hours busy sells his wares. The man is a regular of Ambrosia coffee since it's open for first time.

"Morning, Bayu....can I have a cup of latte?" Ask Mr. Akhmad.

"Sure...just sit for moment while I make it." Reply Bayu.

Akhmad is sit on chair at front of counter and watching Bayu make latte. Then, he drunk it while read newspaper which he bought earlier.

"Bayu...can I request a song?"
