Jennifer's POV

I stood in front of the board of experts. My PowerPoint presentation was being presented on the white board in front of them. I clicked the remote of the projector to project the next slide.

"And our ideal location of the event is the Gugenheim Arts Museum. It's the perfect place to hold our biggest event of the year, The Annual Midnight Aristocrat Art Exhibit."

Miss Celeste, my boss with her short brown hair tied in a pony tail which made her full bangs stand out and wearing a long-length elbow-cut sleeved dress, straightened up from her seat at the farback center of the black long table in front of me.

"And how do you suppose we get the Gugenheim to let us use the venue for the art exhibit?" she asked with a serious tone in her voice and straight face.

"Already done." I answered, holding my clipboard firmly around my arms covered by the sleeves of my gray blazer which matched my gray trousers and my lavender shirt I had underneath my blazer. "We were able to reserve the Gugenheim museum for the event for Saturday November 30th from 7 pm to 2 am - the desired day and time of our clients for the event."

"And what about the decorations?" she raised an eyebrow at me.

"The clients wanted a modern-day-themed event to match the modern arts they'll be exhibiting. We were able to purchase different neon-colored glow sticks and rent strobe lights. These were requested by our clients." I stood solidly.

"As for entertainment?" Miss Celeste rested her elbows on the table, entwined her fingers together, raised them up, and rested her head on them.

"Since the clients requested for a modern day themed party and high class entertainment as well, we were most fortunate to be able to book a local upcoming DJ as our DJ for the event. It was requested by our clients that we get an young and undiscovered DJ." I smiled.

Miss Celeste started to make an upward arch from the corners of her mouth. "Well done, Jennifer. You are grace under pressure. You never fail to never disappoint."

The board of experts gave a me a round of applause after Miss Celeste's pleasing remark. I slightly looked down on the ground and smiled as I started to blush quite a bit. Miss Celeste then dismissed the meeting. The board of experts, along with her, stood up from their seats on the long table, and left the meeting room and headed back to their offices.

I was left alone in the dim meeting room by myself. I organized my files and unplugged the projector and my laptop and kept them neatly in their respective cases. I bundled up my files in one arm and carried my laptop case in my hand. I made my way to the door, shut off the lights, and left the room.

I was making my way to my cabin when my officemate, Frankie, noticed me from her cabin and walked towards me.

"Ok, how do you always please the board of experts?" she said with her natural cute sassy British accent as she walked beside me.

"I just do what I do, that's all." I answered her as I looked down at her, all suited in her black trouser and blazer over her pink top, since she's smaller than me.

"I swear, you're the most successful from us all." she said as she swept her side bangs of her pixie cut hairstyle to the side of her ear. "You've never had any problems in party planning, you always please the clients and board of experts, you always get your props on time, you set-up events well, and your events are always a success. I swear, you are just as successful as Miss Celeste when she was still an event planner. You are close to becoming manager, Jennifer."

I slightly blushed as I walked into my decently sized white-walled cabin. Frankie crossed her arms as she leaned on the side of the cabin entrance.
