It's been a long while. Honestly, time goes by in such a slow-fast pace where the day seems to fly by after you've already lived it, but seems to drag on while you're actually living it. Strange. Anyways, I hope you enjoy the chapter, and sorry for not posting!

Enjoy!

Blaise didn't know what he had been expecting after he had invited himself and Pansy to sit with Draco and Harry, and their friends who he found out were named Hermione and Ginny. However, as he wormed his way closer to having some sort of friendship with the small group, he realized that they were nothing like he had expected. After getting stared down by Harry during the opening feast and the cold looks the group had walked through the door with he had thought that they would be... different, to say the least. He had watched Harry very closely, something he was able to do so well because they shared a dorm room, and he quickly came to the conclusion that Harry was very much a normal teenager as he was a cold, uncaring person. He had seen Draco attempt to drag Harry out of his bed only for Harry to pull him down instead and force him to lay with him. He'd seeing Hermione take the boy by the ear and yell at him for the lack of time he was spending on his studies. And he'd seen Ginny reach over and smack the back of his head for making an inappropriate comment about Draco.

Now, because Blaise had been watching Harry so closely, he also noticed that the boy never seemed to eat anything. Of course, he always sat with his friends and talked, and he silently cast spells on each of their food to make sure it was safe to consume, but he himself never ate anything.

It was this observation that led to him cornering Harry and Draco while they were in their dorm and asking him the burning question that had been at the back of his mind. "Hey, Harry, how come I never see you eat anything, eh mate?" He questioned causing the boy in question to turn towards him, stopping whatever conversation him and Draco had been having before.

When Harry had heard Blaise question him about his eating patterns, he and Draco had been talking about patrol routes. The question caught him slightly off guard, and Draco, who had recovered from his surprise much faster than Harry had, had gotten off the ground and was already pulling Blaise into the room and locking the door behind him. Harry silently cast a silencing charm and tucked their map of Hogwarts away after making sure the contents had disappeared, then he stood up and approached Blaise. He studied him for a moment before looking at Draco who simply shrugged. If Harry wanted to tell the boy then it wasn't up to him, it wasn't his secret after all.

Blaise gulped heavily under Harry's scrutinizing gaze and he faintly wondered whether or not he should have actually voiced his question. Was the boy going to kill him? Blaise certainly knew that he could if he really wanted to and just the thought sent a shiver racing up his spine.

After a moment Harry shrugged and turned away from the boy. "I don't need to eat food, so there's no point in doing so," he said calmly, going to gaze out of the window as he tucked his hands into his front pockets. This answer only left Blaise with more questions than he had before, and seeing as Harry hadn't attacked him yet, he decided to ask them while Harry was willing to answer.

"What do you mean? Everyone needs to eat at some point," Blaise stated and Harry looked back at him.

"I do eat just not the food you're used to."

Draco had moved to block the door by leaning on it, knowing that once the boy realized what Harry was implying that he was most likely going to make a run for it.

Blaise was confused for a few moments before it slowly dawned on him: Harry wasn't human. Taking a step back, he was very tempted to run out the door and never look back, but he knew that if Harry had wanted to attack him, he most likely would have done it by now before Blaise had even gotten his first answer on the matter. So, instead of leaving, he forced himself to stay put and he threw a lazy smile on his face.
