Chapter 10

[ Your POV ]

I had 2 options. Earth or my Homeworld.

I didn't want to break either one of my friend's heart. But I finaly made up my mind.

I took a deep breath and processed what I wanted to choose and if it was the good choice. I looked at PKO....then to my Diamond. Tears were rolling down my face as I finally stuttered my answer.

" I-I...umm...." I began to say... " I ch-ch-choose...t-to sta-ay.....w-wi-th...."

I couldn't handle the pressure. The future was all a blur and I couldn't see if my answer was going to be bad....but........this was obviously my decision so I finally said my answer.

" I want to stay with my Diamond. " I finally said.

PKO looked at me and smiled. " I'll still support you..." He said.

" Well then....now that's settled....... ready to say goodbye?" Black Diamond asked.

" Wait..." PKO said as he looked at me. " Here..." He gave me a red, spike choker. " I thought I would give this to you sooner if you wanted to be my girlfriend but I want you to have it now...."

I took the choker and put it on my neck. It was a perfect fit. " Thanks..." I said as I hugged PKO goodbye....

I then stepped in the ship of Purple Diamond.

And left Earth.

_ 4 years later _

" Well then...it seems that another colony was successful,by me, again, because I'm better." Black Diamond bragged.

" Liar! " Purple Diamond yelled. " You'll never be successful!"

Purple and Black started arguing. I saw into the future that none of them would win. Then...the Diamond communicator started to activate.

" Wait...is that...WHITE?!" Black Diamond said in surprise.

" Hello there star light! " White Diamond said. " Steven is now throwing a gem ball and you're invited! And you can invite any of your friends. Steven brought some of his friends so get ready!"

Then the call ended.

" Shall we go?" Purple asked in excitement.

" Oh...I don't see why not." Black Diamond replied.

" SAPPHIRE! PEARL! GET READY" Purple Diamond yelled.

_ few moments later _

I was now in Purple Diamond's ship. In case if you're wondering what I'm wearing, I'm wearing a big, poofy, dark blue dress, a bun, and.....the choker.

Then the ship landed with Black Diamond's ship right behind us.

Purple Diamond, Black Diamond, Purple Pearl, Black Pearl, Black Diamond's Sapphire, and me.... entered.

There were gems, humans, and loud music. I then saw Steven sitting on a pink throne with Connie.....I swore I saw a wedding ring on both of them.

After greetings, the party began. I was in the corner next to the Diamond thrones. Everything was amazing but I was a bit bored since everyone had someone to dance with....

I then closed my eye and thought about something. I saw TKO and KO and blushed deeply. Their presence in my mind made me happy.

" Uhhh...excuse me?" A familiar voice asked me.

I got startled and opened my eye.

" Uhh...yeah?"

" I'm just wondering...where did you get that choker from?" He asked.

" Oh uhmm...this was just a part of my form.." I replied. I was lying because I didn't want to tell this random stranger my backstory of how a got this choker.

" Ah....I see." He then said. " Well... would you like to...dance with me?"

" I-I'm sorry...I don't dance-" I said before he cut me off.

" C'mon! It will be fun!" He then said with a smile on his face.

I wanted to say no again but... something about this stranger made me feel... comfortable.

I then agreed and the stranger took my hand and we made our way to the dance floor. Both of us were having so much fun that I forgot what happened next....

[ Your/??? POV ]

I opened my eyes to see myself...but not as myself but more... different. I looked like the combination of 2 different people. Before I could do anything else...the whole crowd stared at me.

I felt like the whole room was spinning and now I felt trapped in this one box with a thousand pair of eyes.... looking at me and judging me.

The box then began to shrink. I felt claustrophobic and I thought I was about to throw up. I then looked at myself again.

I looked and felt so... familiar.

And then I unfused.

[ Your POV ]

I fell onto the floor and the stranger helped me up.

I looked into his eyes.....they were golden. I couldn't believe it....and I didn't want to.

I ran away and ran out of the ball and stayed outside for a while.

I touched my choker. I closed my eyes. I didn't see the future but I saw how happy I would've been if I chose to stay on Earth. I felt terribly guilty for leaving Earth. Leaving my friends behind was a big mistake and I didn't want to feel that guilt again.

I thought about shattering myself until I heard "him" again.

" I thought you would be here..." He said.

" Why would you care if I was here?" I asked.

" Because...Sapphire." He said. " I love you. Don't ever think that your choice in the past wasn't good."

My eye widened....

" W-wait....." I said.

" It's nice to see you again...my name's PKO, in case if you forgot." PKO said.

I jumped up and hugged him tightly. I never wanted this to end so badly. I never wanted my loved ones to be gone again.

" I missed you too..." PKO said with tears in his eyes. He hugged me back, tightly.

I chuckled a little bit. I was extremely happy for meeting him again.

" I love you...my Sapphire." PKO said.

" Love you too, you fusion of 2 people I love." I replied with a smile.

" Heh...well then....want to continue dancing with me?" PKO asked.

" Sure...why not?" I said with a smile.

" You really are.....My Sapphire"
