difficult task for Brian........

" Oh my god...Sarah it's such a great surprise to see you .....Danny look who have come...." Jane, Sarah's mom shouted in excitement as she saw Sarah coming running towards her. She called Danny, Sarah's dad who was busy gardening with ear phones in his ears. this was his routine on Sundays. 

Danny had not seen his daughter till now that she has arrived. So Sarah just went behind him silently and as her usual she shouted loudly " boo om........!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" and Danny knew no one but his daughter dared to pull such a stunt on him. Being a retired Colonel in military whole town was afraid of him but not Sarah. Sarah had seen her dad very closely and known him eternally. She knew that he adored her most. and that's why she was the his only daughter. 

" oh my sweet lord..you have paid as unexpected visit...i am not only surprised but also glad you came...i was missing my morning breakfast which you made specially for me..." Danny cupped his daughter's face in his hands and adored the way her eyes sparkled in the sunshine. 

" Enough of your indirect complains about me" Jane shouted from porch. " lets go get inside so that i can cook something awesome for my daughter...but not for you"

" This is just infra...now i don't get to eat even if you are here.." Danny made a sad face...Sarah gave her hand to help her dad get up from ground. As he was getting up he saw that a young handsome, well built man was entering their premises.

" what do you want young man...you can ask for anything today, as i am very happy to see my daughter back.."

" Your daughter's hand sir...for marriage.." The person Danny asked this question was Brian and this was the answer given by Brian.

" what??? " Danny's voice reached it's peak.

Still in shock and not able to control her anger over Brian Sarah tried to control the situation She said," Dad he is with me..come Brian..come inside.." And she threw a tough look towards Brian. To which Brian just winked his eye which made Sarah blush.

" But what was he saying..about marriage and stuff" Danny asked still  not letting go the topic.

" Will discuss it once we go inside..please dad.." Sarah made her puppy dog eyes which made Danny agree to her decision.

" Mom...just come here...We have a guest..AHHH...he is a friend of me..Brian...Brian meet my mom ..mom meet Brian.." Sarah tried to connect Brian to her family which was important if they were going to declare about their marriage today.

" Nice to meet you Mrs.Johnes...I am Brian Wells.." Brian said with a smile on his face. he was started to like this family the moment he he had entered their house. 

" Oh call me Jane...i like it that way...well are you in Sarah's college or you work with her? you we have told Sarah to concentrate on studies and not to worry about money. It's no problem ..but might have known her.She is so adamant. She wanted to be on her own. "

" ya i know her..But i like her quality of being self dependent. she is different from the girls of her age." Brian said looking at Sarah, his eyes telling that he meant what he told. Sarah again had a confused look. She was unable to decide what was truth and did Brian really meant he said. But at that moment the thing important was she was home. 

After coming home Sarah was so excited She was unaware of the resaon. was it that she had returned home or was the kiss on the roadway or was the presence of Brian in her house. She just felt too good to accept it.

" Dad i will just show Brian our house..Mom...we have a guest..cook for him as well.." Sarah shouted to her full volume and looked at Brian.

Brian grabbed her hand and lead her away from living room so that no one could notice them. He slammed the door of the room they came in and pushing Sarah toward wall," A guest..???? I seem like a guest to you my dear to be wife..??"
