Azur Lane: Lies or Truths? (Fan-Fiction)

Chapter 1: The Calm Storm

     Long ago.. The faction Azur Lane split in two, this faction decided to harness the power of the sirens. While Azur Lane wished to destroy the sirens and their technology.

The war that was so intense, that the ships constantly being sunk and replaced were losing memories by every replacement. Turning the newer generation of replacements nothing more but (empty) copies. And the fighting felt like it was never going to end, until the Crimson Axis found out they were going be driven out by the Sirens.

Causing both camps from the Crimson Axis faction, Sakura Empire, and Ironblood to be in a standstill. To fight on a two war front, or join Azur Lane.

They decided to choose Azur lane, and to this day. They remained allied and disavowed themselves of their Crimson Axis faction. Or so they tell me..

"Scarlett! Wake up Lady Scarlett!!"
The voice of a happy and cheerful girl awakens me from my sleep. As I opened my eyes, I sat up and after laying down on the bench, stood up to see a girl with short blue hair and two pigtails look straight at me from about two feet away. She was also waving her hand out towards me.
      "Um.. Hello?"
"Hi! My name is U-556! Lady Tirpitz told me you were finally constructed!"
"Ah, well it is nice to meet you. Little. Submarine? Sorry, maybe I shouldn't call you that. How are you?"
U-556 happy shook her head no, then nodded
"no, it is fine really! Call me whatever you'd like! And I am doing good today Lady Scarlett! Oh! And sensei Z23 is looking for you!"
"Sensei Z who is that?" I looked at U five five six.
"She's the academy's best and brightest teacher! Come on I'll show you where the classrooms are."
I began to walk beside U-556 and looking to my right I saw booths filled with flowers, candies, fruits and vegetables, this part of the base definitely feels really lively, and is that.. A cardboard cutout of a short green haired cat girl in the front?? And she was holding a sign that said "receive a 75% discount nya~!" I can feel the curiosity inside of me kill itself, I had to check this out. I stopped following U-556 and walked in the store.

Walking in, I saw a desk with a counter on it, and two glass casing on my left and right. I wonder who's in charge of this shop—

      "Commander, what's the matter? Can it be that your broke? Ah! Let me take a look at your credit-I mean gems! Yes Nya~!" The voice sounded like a cute girl.

      "Uh, hello?" Suddenly, the same green haired cat girl from the front, popped up from behind the counter.

      "oh! A customer nya~! My name is akashi! And-huh? You look new-ah! A gem!" There was a red diamond on the counter, she picked it up as a big puff of smoke filled the area. I began to cough and wave my hand, shooing the smoke away from my face.

      "Hahaha! You fell for it!" A short blond haired girl began laughing

"Albacore!! You get back here!" Akashi jumped over the counter, I quickly turned around and saw her running after a short blond haired girl. I chuckled then walking out of the store, I followed U-556 to the academy.

Me and U-556 began walking down the hallway in the academy. On the right side of me were large glass windows, and to the left were 4 doors with the index of each class on the top of the doors.
      "Ok! So lady Scarlett! Do you know which one is yours?"
"Uh.. The closest one? I think?" I looked up to see a sign that said BB/BC on it.
"Correct! The one we are at right now is the battleship and Battlecrusier classes known for outputting a lot of damage and some having a lot of health. Behind that are the destroyer class, known for high damage but low armor. In the middle are the heavy and light cruiser classes which can vary from nation to nation and some have the same armor or strength as a battleship! Oh, and finally at the end is the submarine class, we basically are silent hunters, hitting our prey below the water ready to strike!"
"Wow, you know a lot U-556. You should be teaching me."
She chuckled then nodded as she went running to her classroom, she put her hand on the doorknob. I chuckled and faced my classroom door, and just as I was about to open it, i can hear U-556 Crying. I stopped myself from opening the door and looked to my left, U-556 was standing there crying in front of her classroom. I slowly walked to U-556 and stood beside her,
      "hey, you ok little submarine?"
"Yeah..I just.. Miss her.."
I can hear the tone of U-556's voice drop, I look in the direction she was looking at, she was looking a plack beside the door that said "the first of the fallen: U-557"
       "the first of the fallen?"
"Didn't you know lady Scarlett?"
She sniffled
"Know what?"
"after we die, and come back again, we forget everything we ever knew. Our memories would vanish away. And the copy would have no memories... And one of them.. Was my sister."
I hugged U-556 from the side
"it's ok U-556, I bet if your original sister was here. She'd be proud of you.."
"yeah, yeah! You are right lady Scarlett! Thank you so much!"
She turns around and hugs me back, as I lightly chuckle. She lets go of me and so did I with her.
"see you around U-556."
"Bye Lady Scarlett!"
She gave one final wave goodbye as she entered the classroom, closing the door behind her.

I walked back to the front of the battleship/Battlecrusier class and beside the door was eight Portraits and a plack that said "the first of the fallen: Amagi, Hood, Bismarck, Tirpitz, Scharnhorst, Repulse, PoW, Dunkerque" I turned the doorknob and walked in.
