Chapter 11

"What was that noise?" Cindy thought. "Oh did you hear that sounds like my avalanche came down. I hope you said goodbye to your friends because they were just crushed by my avalanche! Haha haha!!" Laughed Professor Colamitis. "Noooo!" Cindy muffled out a silent cry and scream. Her friends were there trying to rescue her. Libby, Carl, Sheen and most importantly Jimmy. Now they were gone. Now he will never know how she felt. How or if he even had feelings for her. She will never know. Tears started streaming down her face as Professor Colamitis laughed and laughed.
Down in the crumble of the snow and ice Jimmy managed to get the snow off of him. He pulled his body up out of the snow and managed to stand up. He looked around him and called out to his friends. "Carl! Libby! Sheen!" He started to think the worst but then they too popped out of the snow shaking it off of their bodies. Jimmy went over to them and helped them all stand up on their feet. "Wow that was some fall" Said sheen. "We are all lucky to be alive" said Libby. "What caused that avalanche Jimbo?" Asked Carl
"It wasn't a what Carl but a who" said Jimmy. "Professor Colamitis made that avalanche happen because he knows we are here" "how'd you think he figure that out?" Sheen Asked. "Probably because he has cameras hidden all over the mountain. There's got to be another way we can get inside and up to the top to his lair to save Cindy but how" said Jimmy. "If there was ever a time for a brain blast it would be now"said Libby. Jimmy closed his eyes. "Think think think!" He repeated while an idea formed into his brain. Then he had his idea. "Brain blast!" He shouted. He ran over to a pile in the snow and started digging. Carl sheen and Libby all helped jimmy dig until they finally were able to dig up the hover car that fell down the mountain with them.
"I don't think it will work jimmy. It's been covered with snow and ice" said Libby. "I'm not getting it to use it to fly Libs. There's a compartment in here that I made to keep a separate jet pack in case I ever needed one" jimmy said. He found the compartment and opened it. He pulled out a high flying super powered jet pack. "But there's only room for one to fly" Said sheen. "Then I'll be the one that goes and gets Cindy. You guys have to finish getting the hover car out of the snow and ice. Then find a way to dry it off and get it to start. My tool box is in another compartment. See what you can do" Said jimmy. Jimmy put on the jet pack and Hooked it around himself securely. "Jimmy please be careful. Professor Colamitis could have kidnapped Cindy because he's trying to get to you" said Libby. "I know Libby. But I'm not going to let anything bad happen to Cindy. I love her" Said jimmy.
"Wow" sheen Libby and Carl Said. Jimmy looked at them. "What?" "That was the first time you actually admitted out loud that you really do love Cindy" Said sheen. "Well its time everyone knew and it's time I admitted it to myself.  And when I rescue Cindy and have her in my arms again I'll tell her too" Said jimmy. They all smiled at their friend. "Good luck man" Said sheen. "Good luck Jim" Said Carl. "Go save your girl Jimmy"said Libby. Jimmy smiled. He pressed a button on the jet back shoulder strap and the jet pack started up. Jimmy flew up into the sky and headed for the top of the Mount Everest his friends watching on from below.
