Something swam behind us

Something swam behind us. "Onii san, (N/n)-" "Don't come over!" We both said to her, stopping her.

The water was moving around, small waves were forming. "So this is a mermaid?" Kaikoku asked.

Something started to emerge from the waters. It was huge, gigantic and enormous. It had large eyes and fins.

"A goldfish?" I asked out loud.

"It's a goldfish." Sakura answered.

Sakura went near to the giant goldfish. Wanting to touch it. "It's huge. I wonder if it's a mutant." The fish looked away from her, avoiding her touch. "Ah, look at the area around it's dorsal fin. It looks like someone's face."

Kaikoku started heading towards the exit. Leaving me and Sakura behind. "Hey! Wait for me!" I exclaimed, catching up to him.

"Onii San, (N/n), be careful. It's deep over there. This way." She motioned us to follow her to the shallow waters of the path. She continued to walk, with me, following her.

"You're familiar with this place, eh." Kaikoku mentioned. "Uh. She's been here more than once, so it's obvious that she should know where to go." I answered while smiling. It was pretty obvious but I didn't want to rub it on Kaikoku's face. I didn't want to start another argument, not with Sakura around. Sakura just nodded at my response.

"Kaikoku, hurry up or we'll leave you." I told him as I continued to walk. Not getting a reply or any word from him. I turned around to find him nowhere in sight. "Onii San?" Sakura called out.

"Tch. He's gone. Let's find him." Sakura nodded at me and we swam to the deeper parts of the waters. A figure was clear up ahead. We swam closer, finding Kaikoku getting dragged by the giant goldfish we found moments ago.

We both looked at each other and nodded. Sakura took a tool from her bag, while I swam closer towards Kaikoku.

Just as the goldfish was about to take a bite on him, Sakura went near the goldfish and plunged the tool, or also known as a screwdriver, on it's body. The goldfish let go of Kaikoku. I grabbed him as fast as I could and swam up for oxygen.

We all let out a cough, "(N/n), Onii San, this way!" Sakura said, as she pulled me to the shallow parts. We both stopped when the goldfish blocked our way, preventing us to swim any farther.

The goldfish swam and was about to eat the three of us. "Duck!" A voice commanded. "Huh? Where?!" I exclaimed. Kaikoku pulled my head down, avoiding the bombs that were thrown to the goldfish.

Once the coast was clear, we all headed to the ground, removing the excess water from our clothes. "Idiot." Kaikoku murmured and flicked my head. Apparently, flicking my forehead is his new way of torturing me. I admit, it was pretty idiotic of me, but I couldn't help myself.

"How nostalgic. It's still alive." Nanami said, placing a hand on his face. We all walked near him, seeing the goldfish below us.

"Nanami, you've seen it before?" Sakura asked.
