Elle POV

I crack my eyes open and am blindedby the white walls around me. My eyes focus on Jax standing by the door andglaring at me, I never thought I would picture him angry.

"You're staring," I tried sayingbut my voice came out as a whisper. His eyes open big and he rushed over to megrabbing my good hand.

"Hey, it's so good to see youreyes." He sighs.

"How long have I been out?"

"Only a few hours," he says sadly.

"By the feeling of my body, I willprobably be in here a while huh?" I ask sadly.

"Actually, the Doctor said once youwake up, you'll take you prescription and have to leave."

"I can't take care of myself, I canhardly breathe as it is? My car? Where is my baby???"I ask trying to sit up butI feel his firm hand on my shoulder pushing me back down.

"Your Jeep is at my place, and Iwant you to come home with me so I can take care of you," Jax says not lettingmy hand go.

"Well, I'm pretty sure you alreadyfound out about my family, and I have nowhere else to go. So I guess I can.Only as long as I am not a burden for you or your roommates," I say finally.

"Deal, now I am going to get thenurse and the guys so we can all get out of here," he says standing up.

A few minutes later a nurse walksin with a boot followed by Jax and two other guys.

"Good afternoon honey, now normallywe won't have people leave with the injuries that you sustain, but since we donot have a choice I brought you this boot so you can help take care ofyourself," she says getting it adjusted on. "Do you have any clothes you'd liketo change into?" I look around sheepishly and just shake my head. "I only ownedfive pairs to begin with, can we just tie this up in the back and I can get myclothes later?"

"Of course," she says finishing upwith the boot. "Now, let's get you standing and in the wheelchair I had yourchaperones bring up."  Just the motion ofsitting up made my completely out of breath, and in a lot of pain, then thenurse grabbed my legs gently and turned me so I had my legs over the edge. Jaxstepped closer and offered me his hand, which I gratefully took. I slowly withthe help of Jax and the nurse pulled myself up. My ribs felt like they were onfire, and I groaned out in pain. The pain in my leg was awful, but bearable. AsI took my first step, my head spun and I got very lightheaded and startedfalling forward. I was waiting for the hard pain for when I fell, but nothinghappened. I opened my eyes and was looking in Jax's eyes.

"Easy there, Doc said that would benormal," he says with a worried look. I smile at him and let him lift me intothe wheelchair. As I get settled, I feel the chair begin to move, and thisbegins the short stay I have at the hospital. We reached the main doors and Isee a third guy standing outside a car.

My brain was starting to beoverwhelmed though, and I felt a lot of hot tears fall down my face. The guystanding at the car looks at me with sympathy.

"You ok?" I hear Jax ask above me.

"Not in the least," I say stillcrying.
