Destiny POV
I woke up with a groan as heard my alarm on my phone blaring. Today was hunting day. Yay. Feel the sarcasm?
I tried to comb through my hair failing miserably. My fingers always got stuck in it. After my failed attempts I decided to put it in a ponytail. But of course, even that was hard.
I slipped on a spaghetti strap army green top, some black skinny jeans, and some combat boots or as I like to call them, stomping boots.
Next, I walked towards the living room and lifted the seats of the couch to get the double-barrel shotgun and my bow and quiver of arrows out. I then started packing a bag with ammunition and food. I also packed a hunting knife. Now I was ready to hunt.
I walked out to the forest, treading lightly. I kept walking until I saw something; a deer. I cock the gun quietly and was about to shoot when...
"Why are you on my land human?" A voice asked, causing the deer to flee
I turned to see an Alpha standing a few feet away. Who does he think he is; the bastard! Scaring away my kill that could've brought me home instead of staying out here for hours.
"Who the hell do you think you are?! Scaring away my kill. Bloody hell I'm the Alpha Lycan's mate"
"So now you admit it" My mate spoke
"Bitch! What is fucking up with you just appearing out of thin air"
"Just want to make sure you're always safe"
"So you think I can't take care of myself?"
He. Didn't. Fucking. Answer.
"Men." I scoffed
"And you! Fucking leave I'm trying to hunt goddess damn it! I could've been done by now but no! You couldn't wait five fucking minutes!" I said to the Alpha
"Thin air and fucking impatient Alpha and Eliza wonders why I don't fraternize with men!" I spoke, to say the least, I was fucking livid
"Fucking bastards!" I shouted
"I'd much ra-" my mate started
"If you fucking dare finish that I will slowly cut your head from your body and make it the most painful thing you have ever felt, all while telling you pun after pun" I threatened
"You she-devil!" The Alpha spoke
I slowly mad menacing steps towards him until I stood in front of him "make like a tree and leave" I spoke deathly calm
"I understand" with that he left
"Find me a buck" I told my mate
"How did you-" he started
"I know a lot of things" I finished
He stopped talking and closed his eyes, probably listening. I watched as the tips of his ears started to grow fur...his third form. His eyes them snapped open, heat scanning and...done!
"Two miles away, left and three centimeters...deer" he said
I swiftly turned and pulled back. I aim for its heart and let go. Then there was the cry of the dying animal. Wonderful! Just alert the whole damn forest won't you! Fuck!
"So... I'm just going to-" my mate said as he started to walk away
"Oh no the hell you ain't! We're doing this Edward and Bella style" I said grabbing his ear and pulling him to the dead deer
