~EJ's POV~

She sits watching her father talking to the girl that has captured her fathers heart and she understood why, from all the stories that the demons had told her was right, she was a blonde beauty with a perfect body and a very brave heart with a pinch of courage as well as a bit of hard to get which like her father she loves a challenge especially with men and women. 

Chole walks up to her "hello I'm chole"

She smiles "I'm EJ nice to meet you, I see why Lucifer likes you" she purrs slightly out

Chole blushes a little and Lucifer comes over and growls quietly so only EJ hears and all she does is smirk getting up

"I would like to join you while going through your homicide" she hums

Chole nods "let's go then"

Lucifer grumbles and walks with chole and EJ by his side. 

~Lucifers POV~ 

He doesn't like EJ here with him and the detective at all, all she has been doing is flirting and chole flirting back he is starting to go insane with all this, he doesn't like people touching and talking with what is his. 

He grabs EJ by the collar and shoves her to the wall growling "I don't know what your getting at but you better stop before I rip you apart"

She smirks "I won't were I get my possessiveness from"

He glares and let's her go "and father, I'm like you when their is a challenge I wanna continue it"

He turns his heels away from her and continues on with chole gripping his hand slightly. 

After several hours of finally finding the killer Lucifer, chole and EJ walk into an abandoned building that used to have storage but it was shut down from smuggling drugs and more into the docs, Lucifer walks to the right while EJ and chole go to the left looking around for anyone. 

EJ hears something and turns just in time for a gun man running up to them and shooting, EJ stays in front of chole becoming a human shield for her, EJ walks up to the man and grab his throat pushing him against the wall choking him, she snarls showing her sharp teeth. 

Lucifer comes running and sees this "EJ!! " he yells at her his devil voice coming out a little bit "DROP HIM! "

she drops the man he is coughing holding his throat, she looks at him and he notices that she has many bullet wounds, one on her side, stomach, neck, right leg and shoulder. 

She goes onto her knee "yes sir.. "

Her blood spills onto the ground she doesn't seemed to be moved, chole runs over to her

"Omg are you ok! " she says

EJ looks at her "yes, why ask? "

Lucifer groans and walks over "you can't feel pain can you? "

She nods and looks at her body "man... This was my favorite outfit to"

Lucifer picks EJ up bridal style "do you have him detective? "

She nods and grabs him pulling him to the car slamming the door shut "will EJ be ok? "

Lucifer nods "she will be I promise"

EJ stares blankly into nothing lifeless as anyone could be

Lucifer sighs not seeing that as a good sign so he calls up Amenadiel to help him heal EJ.
