(Quick Author's note! Sorry forgot to say (D/N) = Dad's name, and (M/N) = Mom's name! Fangirl out~)

As you climbed the stairs, you let out a sigh of relief.

Phew, I'm glad Mom didn't see box I bought.

You didn't want your mom to see the box because she hates "stuff". If you had shown her the box she most likely would of made you turn right back around and give the box back to the store.

After walking into your room and closing the door behind you, you see a brown box laying on your bed.

Not more stuff to unpack...

You put your jewelry box and the little hexagonal box down on your desk and walked over to your bed to open the package.

You were expecting more clothes, but when you open the box there was a f/c pleather (plastic leather) backpack, one of the ones that hang far down your back. It was big enough that it could easily fit several textbooks and stationary, but not big enough to be a burden.

"Oh, it's beautiful!" You exclaim.

Beside the backpack was a note, it read: Dear (Y/N), I hope you like this backpack! I thought you might need it for school in France. There might even be a little surprise in it! Your friend, Emma.

You smiled to your self as you read the note. Emma was your best friend when you lived in h/t. She was one of the only friends of yours over the years that still wanted to keep in touch after you moved.

You picked up the backpack to try it on. It fit perfectly. Then you set it down to look inside. It smelt like brand new plastic, and it had all kinds of zippers and pockets on the inside for holding things. You decide to look through all them to see what Emma meant by a 'surprise'. In one of the pockets, there was a picture of two girls sitting on a park bench eating ice-cream. You smile to yourself, but while feeling a little sad. In the right hand corner of the picture was two names, Emma, in Emma's hand writing, and (Y/N) in your's. This was a picture from last summer in h/t. When you moved there your parents had said that they where going to stop moving and settle down in h/t. You had thought you could have a normal life, but then your mom got offered a huge job in Paris, and your dad could be transferred to another branch in his work, they decided it was time to pack up again. You were not happy. You still aren't very happy, but you've started to get adjusted to the idea.

And don't forget (Y/N), a new school tomorrow, again, sigh...

You start to pack for school in your new backpack.

Pens, pencils, eraser, note book, text books, lunch money, snack- I mean emergency money, phone,

The backpack fit everything you needed, with a little bit of room to spare.

Next, it was time to decide what to wear to your first day of school.

Hmmm, I want to look outgoing, but not extravagant, calm, but not shy,

After trying on some different things, you settled on a f/c short sleeved shirt with a gray sweater that had cat ears on the hood when you pull it up, a pair of your favorite jeans, some high top sneakers, and, of course, your brand new backpack.

There, that looks nice,

You said, spinning around to look at yourself in the mirror.

*Knock knock knock!*

"Honey? What are you doing in there? It's dinnertime!" Mom says from the other side of your door.

"I've been in here for an hour!?" You said, opening the door.
