Becoming someone else

Chapter 1

Author P.O.V

"Izuku, you're going to be late!" my mother yelled from the kitchen. " I'm almost ready," Izuku replies. And with that, I set off to town square.

Okay, I know you're wondering what is happening so let me explain. A long time ago, there was a war between vampires and humans. To settle the fighting the king of the vampires and the leader of the humans had a meeting. What happens is that they agreed that every year they would come to the town and choose a new servant. The ones picked are turning 15 that year to turning 20. There are also other creatures some only have one of that in that kind alive. Okay, enough of me explaining back to Izuku heading to the event.

Izuku walked into the line for the boys. It was a big line. Well, every boy in town was there. While I was lining up I notice the uniform the guards are wearing. They are wearing black pants with silver knee plates, a navy blue shirt with chain-linked sleeves and an iron chest plate. Suddenly, the line starts moving forward. As everyone's name is getting ticked off as we all head to line up inside. Izuku wasn't paying attention until the vampire prince walked in. Izuku just looked down so he wouldn't get noticed, he doesn't want to be picked. As Todoroki was looking around he stopped when smelling vanilla. "Mate," his inner vampire said. He started looking around to find the green-haired cutie. When he found him he was looking at his feet. Todoroki put his hand under Izuku's chin so he was looking at him. Once he saw his face he knew that this was his mate.

Izuku shot his head down to look at his feet. Todoroki again grabbed his chin and made him look at him. "I'll take this one to be my mate," Todoroki declared. "But isn't it supposed to be another vampire?" question Yagi. In return, he got snarls from Todoroki and some other vampires but not the guards. "Don't question me!" snarled Todoroki. Yagi starts backing away. "Sorry, sir Todoroki," apologized Yagi. Todoroki starts to calm down so he doesn't show his real form. After Todoroki calms down he looks back at Izuku to see what he was doing. Izuku was looking at his feet and playing with his thumbs. Todoroki goes to Izuku and asks "Is it okay if I take you as my mate?" Izuku doesn't reply because he is hoping that it is a dream. Soon enough he nods. Todoroki takes Izuku's hand and walks him to his carriage. 

While heading there, Todoroki tells Izuku "So I know you're wondering what a mate is. A mate is a person that has a smell that when it is smelled by a certain person their inner vampire will know that the person the smell is their mate. Which is why I choose you." Izuku was so shocked that he was the mate of the handsome vampire prince Shoto Todoroki. 

Time passed quickly cause they were already at the castle. The castle was huge, it looks like it has up to a hundred rooms which it probably did. Without knowing Todoroki grabs Izuku's hand and leads him inside. Once they're inside Izuku just becomes even more shocked. There was expensive stuff everywhere. While Izuku looked around a red-haired boy walked up to them. "Welcome back young master Todoroki," greeted the boy. "Hello Kirishima, how is everyone today?" asked Todoroki. "Everyone is okay and accounted for," replied Kirishima. "Oh... is this a new servant Todoroki?" asked Kirishima. "No, he is my mate," calmly replied Todoroki. "Okay sir," replied Kirishima. "What is your name and what are you?" Kirishima quizzed. "My name is Izuku Midoriya and I'm human," answered Izuku nervously. Kirishima stared at Todoroki confused. He was about to say something but stop and closed his mouth. 

A few minutes later after the tour from Kirishima, Todoroki and I run into a boy with blonde spikey hair. From shock Izuku fall on his butt. The blonde boy realizes who it is and says "Long time no see Deku." Without thinking, Izuku jumps up and hugs him. "Kacchan!" yells Izuku. Bakugou just hugs back. Todoroki looks pissed because his mate is hugging another person. They stop hugging and Izuku asks "Where have you been? You've been missing for 3 years." Bakugou sighs and starts explaining "You see 3 years ago when my parents and I went on our holiday.  A rogue vampire attacked us and killed my parents. He attacked me but before I could die Todoroki saved me. But even though he saved me I became a half-vampire and since he saved me. I vowed that I would protect him with my life." Izuku stood there confused and then realization dawned on him. Izuku turned around and hugged Todoroki "Thank you for saving Kacchan!" Todoroki hugs back. After a few seconds, they let go. "So why are you here Deku?" spoke up Bakugou. "Oh! From what Todoroki said I'm his mate," replied Izuku happily. Bakugou stood there and then looked at Todoroki. Todoroki Nods and bakugou turns back to Izuku. "Well, I better go back to patrolling. See you later Deku and Todoroki!" Yelled Bakugou as he walked away. "I think I should show you your room," said Todoroki. Todoroki takes Izuku's hand and leads the way to Izuku's room. Once they get there Izuku becomes confused because they are standing in front of Todoroki's room. "Why are we at your room?" asked Izuku.
