Merlin x Arthur angst

Merlin was on his way to wake up Arthur pratdragon as soon as he got to his door he was startled to see Arthur all ready awake it was not like him. While Merlin was lost in thought Arthur came up to him and took the plate of food and set it on the table. Merlin then snapped back into reality when suddenly a big explosion was heard. Arthur and Merlin raced down the halls to then be to the stables the town were in panic Arthur was commanding villagers to go seek refuge in the castle gates when another explosion was heard but this time. You could see flame that it brought it then startled the horses Arthur was already off his horse before it was startled but Merlin wasn't the horse flung Merlin off which caused a help from the young servant.Arthur wasn't paying attention and kept trying to help villagers Merlin got up after a while but only to be brought back down after a huge pain in his leg. 

He got up after a few tries and saw Arthur commanding knights and villagers. He was so busy that he didn't see the bandit with a crossbow. With all of his strength Merlin ran and pushed Arthur out of. The way only to get shot in the arm but when he pushed Arthur, arthur fell and hit his head and got unconscious "stupid prat" Merlin Said. Another bolt of pain came up his leg. He was about to pass out everything was getting blurry when he heard yelling and saw Gwaine running towards him with Percival at his side. Gwaine had gotten there just in time to catch Merlin Percival took Arthur and they both gotten there horses and road to the castle with high alert Morgana and some bandits took some crops and trade items and tried to kill Arthur. 

When they got to the castle they took both Merlin and Arthur to the medical chambers Gaius immediately looked over Arthur and found only a small bump on his head. But when he turned to Merlin he found a seventy damaged leg and wounded arm where a arrow had impaled it self into him. Gaius had got to work and shushed Gwaine away and asked Percival to take Arthur to his chambers. Gaius felt bad he was going to have to wake Merlin in order to heal him he took out some cloth and poured some liquid on it and waved it under Merlin's nose. Merlin jolted awake and screamed in pain Gaius after a while calmed him down and had given him some potions to help heal himself and to numb the pain Gaius was going to have to set his leg back into place but he needed to have some one help with that. Mean while when Percival laid down Arthur in his bed did Arthur jerk awake and screamed Merlin. Per isle tried to calm him down but he soon was panicking when he heard a long scream that sounded like Merlin.

 Arthur without saying anything and ran past Percival and went straight to Gaius to see Merlin. When he got there he was in a menace pain he saw Merlin his Merlin laying on a bed slightly propped up so that he wouldn't choke on the medication Gaius was giving him. When Gaius turned to see Arthur he was sad he was out of bed already but glad he was there he indeed needed some one to set Merlin's bone back in place but it might be bad to have Arthur see it but he was the only one there so Gaius explained what Arthur had to do. Arthur took a deep breath and Gaius and himself laid down Merlin only to see pain because he moved his leg. Gaius cursed Gaius explained that the numbing medication wasn't strong enough Merlin was going to feel it Arthur paled he was going to his Merlin immensely but it had to be done so they laid him down to Merlin's dislike and Arthur grabbed his leg while Gaius held down Merlin. 

Merlin screamed bloody murder when Arthur touched his leg it didn't stop Arthur had to set his leg and to his dislike the screaming continued and Merlin cried out yelling to stop but it had to be done Arthur gave one last push and all you heard was deafening pop and Merlin passed out. While Gaius was fixing Merlin's arm Arthur was panicking. Gaius tried to calm Arthur but he was hyperventilating and when Gaius Finely got home to calm down you could hear Merlin's soft snores almost like a purr noise Arthur got up from his crouched position and sat next to Merlin. And took hold of his uninjured arm. He soon asked his use if he could have Merlin moved to his room Gaius said it was alright and Arthur soon picked up the sleeping Merlin in his arms and brought him to his chambers to have him lay on his bed and sleep with Arthur that night till he was to awake.
