Sympathy For My Parents: Greys Anatomy Fanfic

Entree 2: July 2nd 2020

Dear Diary,

Just got back from the beach with my girls! it was so much fun! We swam, played some volleyball, kicked a soccerball around, made some sand castles. We also barried Piper in the sand. We complete covered her up! We had such a good time, it was a really good day. It was also amazing because mom was there. We haven't done much together recently because she has been so busy working and stuff. She says theres a new group of interns that are soo stupid! She said someone didn't even know how to find a babies heart beat on an ultrasound.. like c'mon i even know how to do that. 

I haven't been able to sleep recently. I'm not sure why but its just weird. I don't have anyone to tell because  i don't want to worry mom and I don't really see her enough. I really wish I knew who my dad was. Its hard not knowing. I don't even know if he lives here in New York City, or if he lives back in Seattle. 

Mom left Settle after she got fired from her job. They fired her because they were having 'cutbacks' atleast that's what they said but mom doesn't beleive it. She has a feeling that it was because she was just coming back from fighting a brain tumor. Oh ya, they fired her after surviving cancer. She worked their through her entire residentcy, she started as an intern six years earlier. She was in her fifth year of residency, when she got diagnosd with a brain tumor. I'm not exactly sure what happaned and how she knew that she had a turmor, but I think it had something to do with Denny Duquette. Denny Duqette, was the love of my moms life. He was a patient at her old hospital, a heart patient, and he died this happaned in her second or third year of residence. She never mentioned anyone though that she dated or had any kind of relationship with near the time I was born.

Well tomorrow I'm going to spend the day and night at my frineds house so I won't be able to write to you. I will write to you as soon as I can.
