The outline of Baleye's ghost circled the room, causing the lights to flicker. Swag and Houdini barked madly as if an intruder was lurking, grabbing them by their collars. They were alone but I was aware of the dangers of this house. The surface of the kitchen felt as if you would fall through the floor in one go. The doors creaked, making it noticable if someone had stepped inside, but the hallway was silent.
Then there was a yelp. I had never heard such a high-pitched noise, but what I heard was coming from the room on the far end of the house. 'THE DOGROOM' I worried as I slowly trotted up the hall. The wind crackled, the lights flickered once again, a cold breeze brushed against the walls.
Once I was in reach of the dog room's door, I heard a noise... deep breathing. The warm air slid down my neck. I didn't dare to turn around... There was then a sudden, sharp pain, straight through my back, and I fell to the floor, unconscious.
