Fall Dream (A One Direction fan Fiction)

Crap I'm going to be late for school again. I look at the time, 9:00, the bell rang 15 minutes ago. This happens almost every morning. But its not like it's my fault I sleep in... is it? I try to run as fast as my legs can carry me. I finally get to school, exhausted. I rush in thought the doors and run down the halls to my locker. Some of the teachers give me dirty looks when I zoom past them. When I finally get to my locker, I grab my books and run up a flight of stairs to my fist period class: Science.

I open the door the the science room and find the whole class staring at me.

"Late again, Eleanor?" says Mrs. Thomas, my science teacher

"Sorry..." I apologize quietly

"It's all right, I didn't mark you late. Now come along sit down" she says sternly but kindly

I sit down at my desk and lay my books down.

"Late again Eleanor?" says my best friend Scarlett quietly mimicking Mrs. Thomson  "so what was it this time El? Did you miss the bus? You alarm didn't go on? Or... Was it the usual? Sleeping in?" she whispers, smiling. I give her an evil stare as a joke and turn to face the front of the class.

Science class goes by horribly slow and I end up doodling in my science notebook. Morning classes always seem to be the longest and hardest to cope with.

The Lunch room buzzes with excitement. girls running around scream excitedly and chattering loudly. No boys are in sight, I don't blame them, with all the commotion they probably left the lunch room. Confused, I look over to Scarlett who returns my confused look. Neither of us know what is going on. Two girl run by us screaming "OH  MY GOD! OH MY GOD! OH. MY. GOD!! AHHHH!!". Scarlett turns around and stops one of the girls.

"Uhh, what going on? What happened?" Scarlett asked the girl

"AHHHH!!!! You will not believe this!" Screams the girl happily "One Direction is coming to out SCHOOL!!! EEEIIIIIIIIKKKKK!!!!"

Scarlett, being a huge One Direction fan, turns towards me with wide eyes, she smiled and starts jumping up and down screaming excitedly. I stare at her, waiting for her to calm down. It's not that I don't like One Direction, it's just that I'm not a big fan of them, I mean I like their songs don't get me wrong, I just don't fantasize about them all they long (like all the other girls).

Scarlett finally stops fangirling and takes a deep breath, "Ok, I'm fine... ok, calm, calm" 

"You sure about that?" I joke

"It's just.... I CAN"T BELIVE THE THE BOYS ARE COMING TO OUR SCHOOL!!!" she starts screaming. I don't think I'd ever understand why girls get all excited over a bunch of guys. I mean why wast you're time day dreaming about some guys that would never fall for you? But I've gotten used to girls talking about One Direction all day long, I've got Scarlett who always randomly starts talking about them whenever they pop into her mind, which happens quite often. In fact just the other day she rang me, practically crying, and when I asked her what happened she said that Liam and Danielle broke up, I meant its really sad I feel bad for him but its not something I would cry about. But I guess that's what its like being a fan of One Direction, or any band ofr that matter.

By the end of lunch my ears are ringing from all the noise there was in the lunch room. I walk down the hall with Scarlett, who is chatting with this other girl, probably about 1D coming to the school. The halls are swarming with students, but its a lot louder. Groups of girls yapping about "the latest news".  People will probably talk about this for a while now. I can even imagine how loud it will be when they actually come to our school, girls everywhere screaming. 

Wait, but why are they even coming to our school? I wonder if anyone knows. Maybe they have and announcement? I'd like to see why they're coming...
