The Young Girl!!

This book does not have chapters, I did not stop to write things that can give away anything(no stops from me), and I wrote this about very close friend of mine. I have changed the names, so no one expects who it's about. Hope you enjoy!!

On October 26, 2000 I was born.My mothers name is Jamie Linda Godly and my fathers name is Nick Josh Parker they named me Marie Lila Parker. I was a beautiful baby,my mom nicknamed me monkey butt because I would climb out of my crib as a baby. As I grew older my father treated me very different from my brother and sisters, I thought it was because he wanted my twin Patrick Tyler Parker and not me....I was exactly right. On my tenth birthday I wasn't as happy as I always was on this special day. I was sad and no matter how hard my mom tried to cheer me up, it didn't work. All I really wanted was for my dad to at least look at me for once the entire day. Around eight at night I came downstairs because I heard noises. It turned out to be my father pinning my mother to the wall choking her. "He is drunk!" I thought as I tried to get him off my mother. I succeeded only to be in the place my mother was just in.

I looked deep into his eyes as I spoke these words, "I hate you, you are nothing to me." After I said those terrible words he let go of me and looked shamefully at his feet.

My mother than looked at me as if she saw a ghost, my mother couldn't believe I had just said that to him, my own father. My mother than snapped out of her trance and said "Honey, let's get u to bed you need your sleep. Remember you have your first day of school tomorrow."

I sighed and shook my head as I turned to look at my father who was now in his chair ,he always sits in, asleep. My mother tucked me in and said her goodnights and walked out of the room. When I was alone I began to cry, as the images of my own father tried to kill not only my mother but, me as well.

Morning came and my brother Matthew woke me for school. Matthew is my 13 year old brother. He said in a soft voice "Marie its time for you to get ready for school, your first day at that." he said a with a little excitement in his voice. I then opened my eyes and got up. I walked to the bathroom down the hall from my room to find Shelly in the bathroom doing her hair as she always does. Shelly is my 15 year old sister who was two years older than Matthew and 3 years younger than Mindy my oldest sister. I said morning to Shelly and Shelly smiled back. I was a little tired because I cried myself to sleep the night before. I was getting dressed when my oldest sister came into their room to get her book bag before she went to eat breakfast like she did every morning. She looked at me and said "Last night was that you who was crying?" I looked at Mindy with a surprised look on my face, Mindy never really said much to me. So in reply I lied and said "No, i think it might've been mom again." Mindy shrugged her shoulders and walked away. I was fully dressed as I grabbed my bag and made my way to the dining room to eat breakfast. I looked at everyone as they stared at me as I entered. My father the only one who wasn't staring at me at all.

I sat down and grabbed my orange juice and ate my toast when I was done I brushed my teeth and walked to give my mom a hug. I did so realizing I had five minutes to get out the door and to school. My mom looked at me and said "What about your fathers hug?" I looked at her a moment and then spoke more harsh words " What father?" Everyone looked at me immediately even my father. His eyes looked as if he were hurt by my words but he stayed emotionless in his face. My first day was good until I had a bully and I was a shy girl when it came to new people.

When I got home I went straight to my room without saying anything to her mother. Shelly and Matthew came to check on me as they usually did, " Whats wrong?"they said in sync. I looked at both of them as I said " Nothing. Why?" I lied and they noticed. "Lier" Shelly said. "Am not" I retorted. Then they gave up and said" If you need to talk to either of us, we will be in our rooms!" I shook my head in response. They then left the room and closed the door. I laid down but then was startled by Mindy walking in to the room and slamming the door behind her. She looked at me and was about to say something but, i just got up and walked out before she could. I walked down to the kitchen where mom was preparing dinner. "Hey honey!" She said as i entered the kitchen. "Hi, can i help you with anything?" I replied, all she did was shake her head and pointed to the mac and cheese. We were having mac and cheese with green beans and pork chops. I set the table for dinner while mom called my brother and sisters for dinner, dad was already at the table. I sat when everyone else came down to the dining room. I made my plate and began to eat. "How was your day?" Mindy asked Matthew and Shelly. "It was hard but, we had fun. Matthew almost got in a fight because this guy was messing with me." Shelly said looking at Matthew. My moms head snapped up and looked at Shelly and said "Do i need to go to the school, again?" Shelly shook her head no and rolled her eyes. After dinner it was time for bed and Shelly and Matthew tucked me in, like always because mom was doing the dishes. I said goodnight to them as they exited the room so i could she Mindy was already in bed asleep. I then fell fast asleep.
