Getting in

During The Other Day

Alfie's POV:

"Yo Alfie mate, wazzup?" Jack shouted at me across the playground whilst walking over.

"Aaahh nothing much, just the usual other than the fact that it's MY BIRTHDAY!"

"Ohh yeah mate, sorry, I kinda forgot?"

"What? How could you have forgotten, you only spoke to me this morning?!"

"Yeah I know but...butbu..." Jack stuttered.

"Allright don't worry, you'll just have to make it up to me sometime yeah?" I said jokingly.

"Ummm...allright, yeah, sure." He said quickly.

"I'm only joking you retard!" I laughingly scoffed.

"Ohh, hahahaha, very funny, lol, that's the most hillarious thing I've ever heard in my life!" He said sarcastically.

"I know right?!"

"Aaahh sozz I've gotta go! Catch you later!"

"Allright mate, see ya." 

I hurried off worried I was going to be late. I had my GCSE's today and I couldn't afford to miss them! I hurried off around the corner and...SMACK. Oh no, I had knocked someone over. I looked down and saw this very pretty girl. Perhaps with a little quirk about her, her bright blue eyes caught mine and I looked away quickly. Then I heard her say something like "okay then" so I just said "huh?". She turned bright red. N'aawww well infront of me everyone turns red so I'm used to it! She then quickly said something I couldn't quite catch, but  it was quite sweet... It had started to get a bit awkward now so I decided to break the silence. "I gotta go" I said whilst walking away quickly. "Yeah, of course" she said afterwards. 

I had never seen anyone quite like her. She can't have been one of us 'the popular people' as I called us because I'd never seen her before. I must forget about it anyway, I had some very important things I had to do.
