Promises whispered in the silent wind
Are scattered now, Dont you know?
This side walk engraved with your footsteps
These restaurants filled with your scent
Long walks without you by my side
This empty car without your laugh
Every breath in this world
Is a reminder of the treaser that I lost
You just left, with a promise in your heart
But what of me alone left to watch?
Come to think, to you next life may be close
But for me its countless breaths and sobs
So how can you expect me to be okay
When my whole life is spent dreaming of your smile.
My heart is brittle, weak, frail
Still trying to beat, to be strong for you
But dont blame me if in the middle of the night
Occasionally, or maybe from time to time
A faded dream reaches in me
And I fall apart, again, thinking of you.
