Scorose

family rivalry

Rose glided along King's Cross station alongside her cousins: Albus, James, Lily luna and Hugo who was her brother. She pulled the trolley in front of her with a strong grip and she was extremely nervous since this was going to be her first year at Hogwarts.

Her parents: Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley had told her their stories and memories from Hogwarts and all about the school and the different houses and how amazing it was so she was really excited but terrified at the same time.

Lily said "Oh mom I wish I could go this year".

Ginny says to Lily "Oh sweetheart you'll be able to go next year".

Lily says "I know but I wanna go this year". She cries softly and Ginny wraps her arms around her.

Rose and Albus rushed through the border and Soon everyone was on the other side of the platform.

Hermione says "Rose, Ron and I forgot to give you this".

Hermione hands her a Hogwarts History book.

Rose says "Aww thanks mum and dad". She rushes over to them and hugs them both.

Ron crouches down to Rose and whispers "Look over there that's Draco Malfoy and his son Scorpius you'll beat him with your grades right?".

Rose says "Of course dad".

Hermione whacks Ron on the arm and says "RONALD!!".

Ron says "I love you?".

Hermione glares at him but then smiles and says "I love you too I guess".

Rose looks at her parents and laughs and says "I have to go now love you guys".

She hugs them tightly and then hugs Lily and Hugo and then Harry and Ginny.

Albus says to Rose "Are you ready?".

Rose smiles and nods as they board the train together.

James walks up behind them and says "I'm here".

Albus says "You're late".

James says "Nah I'm just in time".

James gets on and goes the nearest compartment.

Rose and Albus walk past several compartments before they see an empty one and they sit down after cramming their stuff inside.

Their parents wave at them as they leave, Harry shouts "Goodbye have fun".

Ginny says "Stay safe".

Rose smiled and waved at them as the train started to leave.

She heard the compartment door open so she turns to see who it is and when she looks she sees a boy who was all sorts of cute with platinum blond hair and icy blue eyes.

He says "Hi I'm Scorpius Malfoy can I sit?".

Albus smiles and says "Sure".

He smiles at Rose and says "Hi".

Rose says with a smile  "Hello" She felt butterflies in her stomach when he looked at her but she ignored them.

Albus says to Scorpius "I'm Albus, Albus Potter".

Scorpius's mouth goes wide open and he says "You're related to Harry Potter?".

Albus says "Yep".

Scorpius says sadly "Then I should leave" He turns to leave but Rose shouts "NO" "You don't have to leave you can stay so what if Albus's father and your father were enemies it doesn't mean you guys have to be you can be different".

Scorpius says "You won't judge".

Albus says "Of course not who cares?".

Scorpius smiles and turns back around to sit and then he turns to Rose and says "What you said was amazing thanks".

Rose says "You're welcome".

Rose says to Scorpius "Oh I'm Rose-Granger Weasley".

Scorpius says "Happy to meet you". He extends his hand and she shakes it she feels butterflies as their hands touch.

They smiled at each other warmly as they let go.

Rose then stood up for her seat and looks into her trunk to pull out her wand she thought it was amazing it was an 12 3/4 inch wand with a dragon heartstring core made from Holly.

Rose looks at Albus and says with her eyes do you think he'll be in slytherin like his father?

Albus grinned knowing what Rose was thinking. Scorpius looked at them in confusion but sat back down and didn't ask any questions.

Rose says to Scorpius "So are you good at spells?".

Scorpius says "I'd like to think so I know some simple ones".

Rose says "Let me see then".

Scorpius pulls at his wand and a book and says "Wingardium Leviosa".

Rose and Albus watch as the book floats around the compartment.

Rose says "That was good".

Scorpius says "Thanks".

Albus says "Cool".

Albus says "Well I'm gonna go talk to James for a bit he may be lonely".

He winks at Rose and then looks at Scorpius as he leaves the compartment.

Rose says "Do you like to read?".

Scorpius says "I love to read I find it very relaxing".

Rose says "I love to read too".

Scorpius says teasing "Of course you do your mother is Hermione Granger".

Rose laughed and said "haha yes of course I like reading it's fun".

They both laugh and smile.

Albus comes back and says "We should change into our robes we'll be arriving soon".

Rose says "Right".

She goes to the girl's changing room and changes into her robes and then she waits for Albus and Scorpius to change into their robes.

Soon all of them were getting off the train and onto the Hogsmeade platform where there was a clutter of students in robes.

Rose, Albus, and Scorpius linked arms as they tried to find their way to a lumbering half giant which was Hagrid who was a friend to everyone.

Hagrid said "fir years this way".

The three of them followed Hagrid into the boat house as he said "nly 3 per boat".

The three of them went to the nearest empty boat and then Hagrid said "ere we go".

All the boats glide out into the water for a while before Rose says "Guys look".

In front of them was a beautiful and shining castle.
