Innocent ( Chapter 1 )

After a long day of training and dealing with family issues, Todoroki finally got the chance to sit down on one of the dorm couches and to just relax. However, that was ruined a few moments later when all the guys in Class 1-A decided to lounge in the room aswell. And the conversations they were having were well... disturbing.
"Guys... did you SEE what happened to Momo earlier?! Her outfit got ripped in the front and her chest was exposed for a good 10 minutes!!" Mineta was fanboying about... well... Mineta things while the other guys surprisingly chimed in and started talking about... not so appropriate things. Tch, thought you guys were supposed to be heros, not pervs. Todoroki took no interest in hearing this and he got up, wanting to get out of there and FAST.
But thats when he noticed a green-haired teen looking awfully confused by the whole exchange. Todoroki sighed and walked up to the confused looking Midoriya and grabbed his wrist, "Oi, lets get out of here... don't waste your time listening to their nonsense." Midoriya jumped a bit in surprise from Todoroki's presence but nodded in agreement with his words, "Alright! Lets go!" Midoriya beamed with happiness and Todoroki blushed a bit, averting his gaze so that Midoriya wouldn't notice.

In Todoroki's dorm, the two boys had set up a small seating area and were now watching a movie, a horror movie might I add. Midoriya was clinging to Todoroki, and Todoroki was petting Midoriya's head soothingly while smirking at the dumb jump-scares. "Hey Midoriya... we can change the movie if you'd like." Midoriya just shook his head stubbornly and looked up a Todoroki, "N-No.. i'm fine, I don't want to ruin the movie for you..." Todoroki chuckled and shook his head, "You won't ruin the movie, besides I just want you to be comfortable." Midoriya pouted dorkily and made a determined gesture, "I can get through this, I promise!" They both laughed at that and continued to watch the movie to the end.
By the time the movie had ended, Midoriya had fallen asleep on Todoroki's shoulder. Sighing contently, Todoroki lifted Midoriya up carefully and laid him down on his bed, setting up a futon next to it. Laying down, he slowly drifted off to sleep with the thoughts of him and Midoriya together, sending him into a land of confused feelings and happiness in his own mind. Or so it was at first.

Midoriya suddenly woke from the sounds of heavy breathing and whimpering. Looking around through the darkness he soon realized that he was still in Todoroki's room. Damn...I must've fallen asleep. Still wondering what the sound was he sat up and turned, looking down he saw what the source was.
Todoroki was clearly asleep, but he was twitching and his face looked twisted with pain, sadness, and anger all at once. Tossing and turning in the futon below him, the sheets were thrown about. A nightmare, huh? Midoriya had heard about Todoroki's past and knew what his father had done to make Todoroki shut himself out from others. And thats what made Todoroki's friendship with him so special, the fact that someone who seemed so cold and secretive was now his close friend and was fine with letting go around him made Midoriya feel pride swell within him. However, now was not the time to think all of that over. Shuffling out of what he now knew was Todoroki's bed, he made his way down to the futon, quickly wrapping his arms around Todoroki, he began to whisper soothingly to his distressed friend. "Hey hey... it's alright... you're okay..." After a few moments, Todoroki's erratic breathing slowly went back to normal and the pained expression started to change to a neutral one. Blinking his eyes open a bit, Todoroki looked up at Midoriya who was now rubbing his back. "M-Midoriya... what-" Before he could even ask Midoriya quickly responded, "You had a nightmare..." Todoroki responded with an "Oh-" and Izuku patted his head, "Are you alright?" Todoroki nodded and caressed Izuku's cheek, looking into his dark emerald eyes. "Beautiful..." Izuku's eyes suddenly widened and Todoroki finally realized what he just said, making his body finally shake fully awake with shock. "O-Oh- sorry! Umm- I didn't mean it in a creepy way umm-" Midoriya laughed suddenly, shaking his head at Todoroki. "It's okay! It's okay! I get it... just surprised me there, heh." Todoroki smiled at Izuku's response to his comment and a wave of relief washed over him.
But there was still a feeling of regret... but not because he said what he said. But rather because Izuku had seen him have one of his nightmares.

Nightmares were a normal thing for Todoroki, he pretty much had them every night, making him have bad insomnia. This night was just one where he had fallen asleep early since he felt safe with Midoriya there. However... of course his body had other plans and had to cause this sort of thing to happen. Pretty much every night, after not even 2 hours of sleep, Todoroki would wake up caked in sweat and sometimes tears would be streaming down his face. It was a sight that he himself despised; And to have Midoriya see him like that made something sorrowful yet grateful hollow deep in his heart.
Midoriya was still rubbing Todoroki's back when suddenly Shouto spoke again, "Hey Midoriya... I have been wondering..." After a few moments Midoriya gestured for Todoroki to continue with his question.
"Earlier... when the guys were talking about... well- things.. you looked so confused. I was wondering if maybe you... well.. maybe you aren't into girls?" Izuku tilted his head in confusion, "What do you mean? I mean- I like girls but... the things they were saying just were... weird. I mean- I didn't like the things they were saying ABOUT the girls but... I don't know.." Izuku stammered a bit and Todoroki took that response into his thoughts, thinking. "I mean... do you like girls.. as in- love them? Like- have you ever dated a girl before?" Izuku quickly shook his head, "N-No! I mean... no... I never really worried about things like that and still don't. I always was studying hero's and everyone saw me as a loser in Elementary and Middle school so..." Todoroki nodded in understanding but still questioned the green-haired boy, "Okay... well have you ever had any interest in anyone?" Izuku shook his head and Todoroki suddenly came over a thought, "Hey... has anyone ever told you about sex? Like... did you ever have Sex Ed?" Midoriya tilted his head and seemed to be thinking for a second before he shook his head again, "No... I think maybe they said something about it in Middle School but I never paid attention to it..." Todoroki's eyes widened and he suddenly understood why Midoriya had been so confused. But that made another thought sprout in his mind, "Wait... so you don't know what.. eh.. what masturbation is?" He hesitated asking that but he couldn't help it... this was a bit of an interesting topic now. However, Todoroki didn't want to seem like a perv... but this new information was something he was unfamiliar with and it made him curious about the innocent boy in front of him. "U-Umm.. no?" Izuku seemed to be worried now, "Is it something I should know about?" Todoroki didn't know how to answer that. It was something that practically everyone knew about and Izuku probably should too. However, Izuku's innocence was on the line here and he probably would find out sooner or later anyways. However, something about this conversation made something weird spark in Todoroki. "Hmm... well- kind of?" It was more of a question to himself, but Izuku tilted his head. "W-What is that supposed to mean?" Todoroki shrugged, "Well... everyone in this school probably knows what it is but... in some cases it's best if you don't know.. however... you are probably pent up..." Midoriya's eyes widened in confusion, "P-Pent up?! EVERYONE IN THE SCHOOL KNOWS? Do you know too?!" Todoroki nodded, "Yeah..." Midoriya started pacing around Todoroki's room, the whole nightmare situation now forgotten. "W-Well, then I should know too!" Midoriya almost looked like he was gonna have a panic attack and Todoroki laughed at how this situation was being taken so seriously when it wasn't really that big of a deal. "W-What's so funny?! Come on Shouto, help me out here!" Todoroki was a bit shocked at Midoriya using his first name like that, but it wasn't a bad feeling. "Okay okay, well... I don't really know how to explain it without sounding gross..." Midoriya tilted his head, "How is it gross if everyone knows and apparently is fine with it?" Todoroki shook his head, "Well... just saying it out of the blue like this might shock you a bit." Midoriya narrowed his eyes and crossed his arms, "Hmph. Come on, just spit it out! I promise I won't be grossed out!"
At that, suddenly a major thought filled Todoroki's mind. Making his whole body go numb with excitement but also disgust at himself.
