Runningkit woke up with a start, her muscles acing uncomfortably from the cold. She stood up and looked around. Then she realized she was'nt in the nursery or the camp at all. All around her there were rolling hills with trees covering every hill top. Frantic, she started running in one direction, trying to pin point were the camp  is.

WHERE'S TRICKLEKIT? WHERE'S FLYPAW AND JAYSWOOP?

She stopped, then it all came together Runningkit's mind.

"Very funny Flypaw," she meowed. "I really fell for that one! How could I have been so mouse brained? Come on, you can come out now Flypaw," she said after a moment's pause.

A bush shook a fox length behind her and she terned, not to see Flypaw's dark brown fur but a white she-cat with mist floating around her. For a heart beat, Runningkit thought she could see the bush through the she-cat's fur.

"You... you're not Flypaw," she stampered.

"No, I'm not. My name is Lovefeather, I'm a MistClan cat."

Runningkit just started at the MistClan cat.
What could she say? A MISTCLAN cat came to HER? But why?

   "Am I dreaming?" she asked.

"Yes, little one," Lovefeather padded closer to her. "Now it is time for you to go. But we will meet again, Runningkit."

Mist started to swerl around Runningkit, just like the MistClan cat, but it bacame thicker as it went on. Soon, she couldn't even see her own paws. She closed her eyes shut and openned them open again when she could no longer feel the damp tuch of the mist. She found her self kerled up in Grapecling's nest the way she had been left.

WHY WOULD A MISTCLAN CAT COME TO ME? WHY NOT OUR MEDICINE CAT SILENTPOOL OR OUR LEADER WISKERMIST? BUT SHE DIDN'T SAY ANYTHING IMPORTANT I GUESS, BUT SHE did SAY WE'D MEET AGAIN.

Runningkit was so confused she felt like she was about to berst. But she got up and shook the stifnnes from her limbs, acsedently waking Grapecling in the process.

"What are you doing, up so late Runningkit," she ended in a yonn. "It's not even down yet."

Runningkit looked through the cracks in the den wall to see black night and realized Grapecling was right.
"Sorry," she meowed, "I'm just really cold."
"Come sleep closer to me," Grapecling offered.

Runningkit gathered some more moss from her own nest and and set it down in Grapecling's nest. She setteld down at the crook of Grapecling's huge belly and, with her dream at the back of her mind, soon slept peaceful and dreamlessly.
