Amthyst's POV
All I remember is running. Running quickly through the woods. Sapphire was shortly behind me. We just came down to help a guy in the hospital. Why were they chasing us? I heard a scream and looked behind me. Sapphire was being dangled by her feet by a boy with dark black hair and matching eyes. Black wings fluttered behind him. He looked like a fallen angel. I backed up a bit and ran into a person myself. A rather cute boy with charming looks and great purple eyes. He looked
younger than the rest. He grabbed my wrists and brought me to where Sapphire and the fallen angel stood.
"Why are you two down here? This is our land.." the boy beside us spoke.
"Yeah. We don't appreciate 'your kind' here," a voice above us said. I looked up to see a boy in a tree. He seemed human other than his glowing yellow eyes and the
dragon wings sprouting out of his back.
Sapphire was dropped to the ground. The boy who was holding her grabbed her wrists and yanked her up, refusing to let go.
"You guys are too... innocent.." another boy spoke as he got uncomfortably close to my neck. I then noticed his fangs. I could feel his hot breath on my neck and I tensed up.
"Cole.. not now..." the boy holding Sapphire said, stopping the boy from biting my neck.
"Please? They are not going to fight back! They are angels. They can't hurt us. You should know Will. You were one..." the one called Cole whined.
"Wait... How can you tell we are angels?" Sapphire asked.
"Your smell," dragon boy said "matter-of-factly," jumping to the ground in front of us.
"You angels are all so dumb," the youngest said.
"Watch yourself Dana," the fallen one said.
"At least we don't kill humans!" I said angrily, fighting his grasp.
"No. You let them kill us," someone growled from behind us. I turned to see a wolf behind me.
"David get up," Cole said. The wolf stood, shedding his fur and becoming human.
"Werewolf," Sapphire muttered.
"No, really?" I muttered back sarcastically.
"Enough small talk, let's kill them," the dragon boy said to the two holding onto Sapphire and I.
