I sit up, realizing that I'm not actually on a bed. My vision slowly starts to clear up, revealing that other tables are in this room. I blink a few times, noticing that it looks a lot like an ordinary cafeteria. There aren't any windows, but I shrug it off, starting to get up.
As I walk towards the door, I start to think about how I got here.
This is Hope's Peak, right?
I try to recall anything, but I can only remember two things.
1. I'm a student of Hope's Peak University.
2. My name is Karma Mccollough.
I feel like there's more I should be remembering, but I can't think of anything!
I grit my teeth, but I'm drawn away from my frustration when I hear the door slide open. I open my eyes, seeing a girl with pink hair and cat ear headphones. She smiles. "Oh, I found someone! I'm not alone after all!"
The door slides closed behind her by itself after she steps into the room. I smile. "Hi. Do you... know where we are?"
She thinks. "I'd assume Hope's Peak University, but I'm not sure."
I sigh. "Alright. I was hoping that someone would have answers."
She nods. "I'm afraid I don't have those answers." She suddenly smiles. "I should introduce myself."
She grins. "I'm Hope. I'm the Ultimate Lucky Student."

I look at her a bit more. "So, Hope, does HPU even have Lucky Students?"
She shrugs. "I mean, I was allowed to go there after being picked for Hope's Peak High School. If not-" She giggles. "-I guess I just got lucky."
