Chapter 1 Jack

Then Jack wake up.A nightmare again,he thought.He look at his watch.7:30.Great,he though,is still too early to wake up.He shook his head,carefully got out of his room,and walked outside.He has been having the same nightmares of the men and the women and the notebooks.Maybe too much mystery books,he though.Jack was a bookworm.Everyday,he would go to the public library to check out books to read.He mostly read mystery books,like sherlock Holmes.Because of all the reading he has done,he was smarter than anyone in their city.Jack decided to go to the library since he still had about 2 hours left before he had to go to school.So,he walked the 2 kilometers to the library.When he walked in,he was welcome by the librarian Ms.Jonhson."Hey sweetie,how are you today?"She ask.He walked to where she was typing something in the laptop."Good mam,how about you?"Jack said."Excellent,thank you for asking"She responded with an smile.
"So,did they added new books this week?"Jack ask."Sure did"She responded,pointing at a bookshelf filled with a lot of books.Jack thank the librarian and then went to look at the books.He picked a book and went to a chair and started to read.After a few minutes,he went to get another book.By the time he left the library,he had read 4 books.He decided it was time to go home,so he started the walk to his house.On the way back,he saw a women running the opposite direction.He almost bumped into her.Whats her problem?,he though.He ignore this and continue walking.When he got to his house,the little door of the white fence that covered the whole front yard was knocked down."what?!"he said out loud.He ran to the front door.It was also knocked down.He walked inside and became pale.There was blood in the floor.Some chairs were broken,others were turned upside down."Mom!"he shouted.He went into the living room.He saw the dining table broken in two.He then ran to the living.The TV screen was broken.The sofa had marks of cutting.Probably a kitchen knife,Jack though.He was starting to get worried.He ran upstairs.The paintings that usually were in the walls were in the floor.He ran and saw more blood along the way.The blood left a trail that guided Jack into his mom room.When he went inside,he screamed!His mom was there,looking pale.Her mouth was open in terror,like she was screaming before she got killed.When Jack finally calmed down,he got to the phone that was on the bed and called 911."911,what's your emergency?"a women said in the other line."You must send help quick,my mom got murdered"Jack said as calmly as he could."what's the address?"the women ask.Jack told her the address
and she told him help was coming soon.She told him to stay there,so he waited in the room where his mother lay motionless.After a few minutes,cops and medics arrive.The cops took Jack to ask him questions.At the end,the cop ask,"do you have any other family member?"."yes,my twin sister Jill and my little sister Angel"Jack responded."Where are they?"the cop ask."Jill is in her karate lessons that she attends at 6:00 am"Jack said,"and Angel is in her friend house,she was having a sleepover".The cop closed his notepad and ask"but do you have anyone that could take care of the three of you?".Jack thought for a moment,then said"yes,my uncle Jonh"."Where is this uncle Jonh?"the cop ask."Somewhere in a place called Woodland town"Jack responded."Ok,we will contact him and see if he is willing to take care of y'all as your guardian"the cop said.
