Chapter One

I walked past the Athena cabin and saw Percy and Annabeth making out,I quickly walked away. As I was about to enter my cabin I caught Annabeth eye,she looked worried. I closed the doors and layed down on the bed,I started sobbing loudly and shaking. I heard footsteps and layed there silently, until I heard them fade away. I jumped up,knocking over a picture of Bianca,I yelled "UGH!" In frustration. I heard a knock at the door and Annabeth came in.

"Hey,Nico,everything okay in here?" She asked me concerned,I nodded,"Yes,but thanks,Annabeth." I managed a smile at her. She still looked worried,but let it go. "Its time for dinner,you comin' buddy?" "Is Percy going to be there?" I asked,trying to sound casual. "Of course." I shook my head. "Nico,what's up with you,you can't keep doing this. You've done it for the past two weeks. You can't keep skipping meals. And its always the same question, 'Will Percy be there?'" I sighed,"I'm not,skipping meals,I'm just not eating with you all. I don't like people. They make me nervous and feel like an outcast." I told her,mabey she'd believe that. "Well, you're at least coming to the fire, I'm commanding that." She said and walked out.

One hour later I walked out of my cabin and sat down by the fire, away from everyone. Percy came and sat down by me,good thing it was dark because I felt my cheeks heat up. "Uh,hey, Percy." I said,trying not to sound nervous,"Hey Neeks,Annabeth said you've been acting weird lately,and you wouldn't talk to her,mabey you'll talk to me?" Oh,my,Gods. He called me Neeks! He's the only one who calls me that. Oh my Gods. "Um,thanks,but I'm fine,trust me." He nodded,"Okay. Nico,just remember you can talk to me,about anything." I smiled,"Thank you." "So,mind if I stay here?" He asked me. "Sure,I was,uh just leaving,though." Stupid,stupid,stupid!

"Aww,why,you just got here. And I never see you anymore. We should hang out sometime." "Sorry,but I,uh can't, goodnight Percy." I said quickly and walked to my cabin.

I sat on the top bunk. Staring at the wall,man I wished I had gone to camp Jupiter! Annabeth came in,"I told you to come to the fire!" She said angerly "I was there. Then I left. Goodnight Annabeth." I said I layed down. She grumbled in frustration and left,slamming the doors. I got down and found my notebook.

You rip my heart out Percy...

Is all I wrote and fell asleep.
