Heaven's Journey (ON HOLD)

CHAPTER 1

Chris Holmes

I was just scrolling through my instagram, when a sudden knock at the door knocked me out of my trance.

I got up from the couch , shouted "Coming.. ", then found out that it was my messy roommate Carlos. I jerked the door open.

Chris: "You know it's the weekend right!? You're not supposed to be here!"

Carlos : " No welcome for me bro? SadLife bro.", he said dramatically.

I let him in and sat back down.

Carlos:"Why is our dorm always clean when I m not around? ", he frowned.

Chris:"Because it's always you who makes the dorm a trash can and you better leave me alone on my weekends because if you don'-", I was cut off by his statement.

Carlos:"Don't ever finish that sentence bro because I don't wanna die so soon.", he said while showing me his white teeth and I smirked.

Chris: "Get to the topic", I said in a serious tone.

Carlos: "What was the topic bro?"

Chris: "Why are you here?Its still weekend."

Carlos:"Okay so actually i have decided to move back to England and continue my studies from there." , he sighed.

Chris:"So that means?"

Carlos:"That means i have come here to pick my stuff and bid my farewell to you"

I was shocked to hear that. Carlos had always been a good roommate except the fact that he was very messy. I don't know how to feel about this news.Well whatever atleast I'll have this whole dorm by myself.

Carlos went in his room and started gathering his belongings. After few minutes he came out with his holdings and looked at me saying:

Carlos:"I'll miss you bro and I'm sure that you'll miss me too.", He winked at me.

I rolled my eyes.

Chris: Where did that thought come from Carlos?,

I asked while standing up and walking towards him with a deadly glare.

"because its pissing me off.", i finished off my sentence,came directly in front of him and folded my arms on my chest.

I'm laughing real hard internally.. Hahaha well that's what you get when you disturb my weekends.

He raised his arms in surrender and says,

Carlos: Chill+relax equals to CHILLAX bro. I m just kidding and now i m leaving. Have a great life bro.be happy and try not to miss me too much",He winked and with that he leaves the place as soon as possible.

The moment he leaves, I start laughing uncontrollably. Scary pants.

I smiled and turned off all the unnecessary lights, switches and straight away went to my room to sleep.

AFTER A WEEK

Heaven Williams

I'm preparing a drink for an old man and I SWEAR TO GOD that if he doesn't stop staring at me like a pervert, I'm gonna sue him.

Heaven: Here is your drink, Sir."I said while gritting my teeth.

He took the drink from me slightly caressing my hand and smirked.

Old man:"Hey beautiful are you available for tonight?"

Did i just hear what i think i heard? I take a deep breath and then BOOM.I slap him as hard as i can. Ooh. I like the sound it made. Now everyone is looking at us. wow. I hope I dont get fired for this. That old man looks at me with anger in his eyes and before he does something my manager comes to handle the situation.

Manager:"What's going on here?"

He shoots me a glare and apologizes to the old man on my behalf.

Manager:"We are very sorry sir.We'll make sure this doesn't happen again.I apologize on her behalf. Please give her a second chance."

I look at him with my mouth wide open. I dont need a second chance. I didn't do anything wrong but i keep my mouth shut.

Old man:"Hmm okay."

With that he leaves the bar.

Manager:"Miss heaven this is your last chance.One more complain and you are fired. Got it?"

Heaven:"okay",I said rolling my eyes.

I turned around and started cleaning the racks when i heard a deep mesmerizing voice saying.

"One shot of whiskey"

I take the bottle of whiskey from the rack, turn around to pass a glance at the owner of the voice and start pouring it in the glass.

Well that glance wasn't enough and I had to raise my eyes and look at that masterpiece again....how did God create this amazing piece of meat. He was raven haired, hazel-eyed, clean shaved,plumped lips and dressed head to toe in black. I was lost in his eyes that were just taking my whole appearance in. I was lost of words in my life for the first time I guess. I couldn't distract my own eyes. I was a lost case of love that i overpoured the whiskey and it spilled all over the bar and i come back to reality.

Heaven:"Oh my god oh my god I'm so sorry.I'll just clean this mess."

??:"I think you were too lost somewhere.",he smirked.

I glance at him again and then continue cleaning the mess.I pour the whiskey again and hand him the glass.His hand slightly touches mine and my heart skips a beat.Why is his presence making me feel so weak?I try to shoo my thoughts away and focus on my work.

Heaven:"Anything else mister.....?"

??:"Your number will do.",He says while grinning.

Heaven:"Sorry what?"

??:"Just kidding.",He lets out a chuckle.

Wow even his laugh is so beautiful.Is he even real?I'm gonna go crazy.Come on Heaven focus!

I turn around to talk to my fellow bar-mate and discuss our tomorrow schedule. When I turn back to look at that masterpiece again but till then he was gone. I looked everywhere and when I looked at the exit,there he was. Looking all mighty. He stopped in his tracks and turned around to search for someone but in the end his eyes lands on me. His way of looking was totally in a different and sensual way that was giving me goose bumps . He passes me a brief smile and winks at me before he's gone and now i was blushing like an idiot.

I look at my watch and its 10pm and finally my shift is over.I inform the manager and exit the bar.I start walking back to my apartment.After sometime i reach back to my apartment and take the keys out of my pocket to unlock the door when i hear a notification.I look at my phone and its an email.I open the mail and when i read whats written there i let out a loud scream.

Heaven:"OH MY GOD THIS IS WHAT I WAS WAITING FOR SO MANY DAYS.I CAN'T BELIEVE IT.YAYYYYYY!!"

An old woman comes out from the other apartment and looks at me with anger.

Old woman:"Are you crazy lady?Why are you shouting and disturbing people's sleep?"

I look at her smiling my heart out and then i unlock the door and enter my apartment.I close the door behind me and then scream again from happiness.
