my name is Emily Kane i am a reporter for the New York Times . my bosses in new york move me here to freeport maine to found out what is going on here in the complex . all kinds of animals and people have just vanish . no sign of them nothing. they had a tenant dissappear two days ago she went out to get her mail and vanish . this is wooded complex it is thick with shrubs grass and trees can there be something lurking in those woods? with a huge lake and then there the house on the hill surrond by that iron fence. the house looks like it could tell stories of things that it has been through . that where i am going to start found out the history of the house and maybe it will solved the mystery of the complex.
