Mischief: its their favorite thing to cause. Giving the teachers all kinds of hell for the fun of it. They aren't afraid to get in trouble, as long as something good happens. Giving up their free time after school is something there used to: after all they are always in detention almost every possible day. Of course they don't care. They think its worth it to see the teacher jump up after attempting to sitting down on a thumbtack. These are the boys in class that are the most entertaining to us, always being yelled at by the teachers, getting sent to the principles office at least once a week. The boys who never had recess in elementary school. The boys that could care less about school, and only show up to showoff to their friends. The boys everybody loves. I am one of those boys, and they are my friends. We've been through everything together: detentions, Saturday School, in school suspension. Everything. I haven't gone through anything alone, and either have them.
Their are five boys to be exact; Matt, Christian, Wayne, Barrie, and me, Hudson. We are known as the worst kids at Greyson High. Were only freshman, but have the respect of the seniors. Thats some of the perks of being the bad kids. Its fun to cause mischief. It gets you noticed and gains respect. Thats why I've chosen to be this: chosen to be the worst.
" Hudson."
I turned around in my desk and looked at Barrie.
"What?"
He reached in his pocket and pulled out a rubber band and a quarter, then pointed at the teacher, Mr. Calds. I smiled and took them off his desk.
"Dude you have to video this," I said to Barrie.
He reached in his pocket and took out his phone.
" Alright, do it."
I put the quarter on the rubberband and pulled back, aiming at Mr. Calds. My heart beating fast with excitement as I tried to hold back my laughter. I let go of the quarter and as it sailed across the room, barely missing the other kids heads. Instead of hitting Mr. Calds, my quarter flew past head and went threw the window, shaddering it. Barrie and I started laughing hysterically, the rest of the class shocked.
"Dude I got the whole thing on v-"
"Boys!"
We turned towards Mr. Calds, still laughing.
"You know the drill. Now go."
We packed up our books and went to the office.
"Oh my god wait until we tell Matt. He hated Calds." said Barrie.
We approached the front office and Principle Owens was already waiting for us.
" In my office, now."
We got in his office and he shut the door.
"The window. Really? Who do you thinks gonna pay for that?" he boomed.
"You I guess," said Barrie.
"What were you boys thinking?"
"Its not that big a deal," I said.
"Really? You shattered a window with a coin. Its kind of a big deal."'
"I got it on video if you wanna see."
"No I don't. What I want is that window fixed."
"Okay, your point is?"
"On Saturday you both will come to the school and fix that window. i dont care how long it takes but its getting fixed."
"Saturday is homecoming. And we dont know how to fix a window."
"I know its homecoming and you'll figure it out yourselves."
At this moment the bell rang. It was time to go home.
"Boys."
We turned around and looked back at him.
"If I see one of you back here in the next two weeks, you will be expelled."
