"Natsu! my boy!" Said igneel as he hugged his son. "  will you get better?" Natsu said his onyx green eyes were filled with sorrow. "I hope so but don't worry, what ever happens I'll always be by your side"

Beep ~~

"Dad!" Natsu said shaking his father's limp body. "OK dad you can stop joking now" his voice sounded like burning leaves. "Dad..." The nurses came in and took Natsu outside to sit beside his mother and friend.

"Is your father OK Natsu?" Said the girl. Her blond hair covered in dirt and sweat for she fell on her way to the hospital. "I hope so" he said his gaze focused on the floor. As for his mother she sat texting on her phone and gossiping with her friends.

Natsu was angered that his mother sat doing nothing and her husband was on the verge of dying. After a while the doctors came out. "Mr. Dragneel would like to speak to you Natsu and so is your mother and Miss Heartfilia. " Natsu got up along with his friend, but his mom sat on her phone as if she didn't hear what the doctor said.

He went inside the room and received a weak smile from his father. "Hey son,where's Lucy? And your mother." Lucy stepped from behind Natsu her brown orbs glistening with tears. "Don't leave us Mr. Dragneel!" He laughed and patted her golden locks.

"Moms outside on her phone" Natsu said his mouth twitching in anger. His father smiled and embraced the two of them.

Natsu woke up with a start. "Ugh" he grumpled as he got up and scratched his scalp which was covered in his pretty salmon locks. "Damn Morning" he took a shower and got him self ready for school. He greeted his mother who was in the coach sleeping. "Don't call my name you brat,just head to school like I told you to"

Natsu stepped out and began walking. He signed sadly as he whistled past people who greeted him with quick 'ohayo'  and headed there ways.

"Hey Natsu do you miss us" called his friends As he passed his school. Sabertooth. He glared at them and continued walking. After coming up to the familiar building labeled. "Fairy tail" he felt excited and ready.

"Wonder what this school has to throw on me" he said with a slight smirk.

As he was walking towards class he bumped into two soft cushions before falling on the floor which was followed by equal weight doubling the pain he felt from the fall.

"Oh I'm so sorry" he heard as he felt himself being lifted of the ground. What he saw made a very unknown emotion touch his heart. I was a girl with mesmerizing brown eyes and golden hair and a body of a goddess.

He gaped at the sight. "Oh hello" was the only thing he managed to say as his heart swelled. "Your new around her right?" He nodded and she smiled. "I show you your class"
"Oh yeah I forgot to mention,  my names Lucy Heartfilia"

And that comes to the end of chapter one.
