Kelsey, my Mother, was born about the time of the 39th hunger games. I was born around the 63rd. she was 24 when she had me, and later died.
She had dirty blonde hair, similar to mine. Her green eyes shone like emeralds and her pale lips would always be smiling, or at least that's what they tell me.
Her mother left when she was 2. But we will get to that later. Her father hardly cared about her. He wouldn't see her at all and just ignored her. Then, when she was 24 she met a man and got pregnant. That man was later in the hunger games, and but died.
After having me, she mysteriously died. I am still told everyday she just died in her sleep. But I don't believe that.
I was only just turned 13 at the time of the rebellion. But my family had a huge shock when we saw who was at the bottom of it.
It was my grandmother.
