I dont want to assume
To save my heart from breaking
You talk to me like you aren't interested
But talk to others like I am yours
I dont know if it's just me
But I hope you feel the same way
I'll wait til you confess, my dear
Even if it means for eternity
I wont tell you I love you
I'm afraid that it's just me
I'll show it through my actions
Let you feel how dear you are to me

And promise me you'll never leave
What I feel for you can be endured
Even the pain that comes with it
