muffins

I woke up once again before my alarm clock my mind immediately being filled with yesterday's events. I smiled to myself at the thought of sparring with Midoriya, he most likely would win do to him having the most experience. The smallest thought of beating Midoriya in a spare made my smile widen as I was getting ready for school. (Freckles/yellow) I almost slipped down the stares exited for today's events, dad wasn't in the kitchen yet so I took it upon myself to make some breakfast for everyone. I used my quirk a bit wile making the muffins to make sure they would be nice and fluffy for consumption, that and I over mixed them a bit (whoops lol). Both my parents came out to the smell of coffee and bacon "morning sweetie what you making?" I heard my dad ask sleepily "dinner" I said sarcastically as I heard my mom burst out with laughter before she poured herself a cup of coffee and drinking it black. "thank you dear for making coffee" my mom said before kissing my head as I flipped the bacon "no problem mom, also there are muffins in the oven that will be done here in a minute" I said as I started to put the bacon on a plate with napkins on it so they aren't really greasy. just then the timer went off telling me that the muffins were done wile I began to pull them out, the smell of the poppy seed muffins filled the air mixing with the smell of the coffee and bacon. I always wondered how my parents quirks combined to make mine, my moms quirk is called tag because she can make symbols of her own creation appear on anything and only she can remove it and my dads well his is called magic.. its pretty self explanatory since magic is mostly known to be in the wiccan world and more often than not he would use symbols for his quirk but it always baffled me how it combined to make mine always perplexing me. as I was distracted in thought my dad was levitating some bacon to him until I noticed and grabbed it putting it on the plate burning myself a bit in the process "your so impatient dad, its not ready yet its still really hot" I then used a combination of my ice and air quirks to cool down the muffins and bacon at the same time and of coarse the arrow and snowflakes were glowing. "food is ready now, I'm gonna head to school love you mom love you dad" I said as I deactivated my quirks and grabbing some muffins and bacon before I left.

-time skip cuz I'm lazy-

once I got to school I immediately started searching for the 3 upperclassmen to give them each a muffin that I had carried in a zip-block bag in my backpack. I saw the three upperclassmen chatting by the front doors so I quickly ran up to them not noticing that the lightning marks had begun to glow as I somehow got to them in less than 2 seconds little bits of electricity floating around me before dispersing "hi" I said making all three jump "fuck l/n you almost made us jump out of our socks" Bokugou exclaimed as he had his hand to his chest "didn't you guys see me coming?" I asked completely unaware of how fast I had actually gone as I had gone much faster than I thought I was going. Todoroki grabbed my wrist showing me the glowing lightning bolt " you pretty much came up to us like the flash" he said in a monotone voice. "I didn't even know I could do that! I guess there's more to learn about my quirks than I thought" I said as the lightning bolt stopped glowing "you don't know the full extent of your quirks?" Midoriya asked as I simply shook my head no " I don't even know what all of them are" all three of them just looked at me confused on what I meant "well I know what some of them are but I don't know how to activate them like the stars on my temples or the moon on the back of my neck or the sun on my stomach they just activate by themselves with certain actions I do." there confusion disappeared when I finished my little explanation "what quirks can you use then?" Midoriya ask "water, fire, ice, electricity, air, and earth are the ones I know how to use oh before I forget" I said pulling out the muffins and handing the 3 there own muffin "I made muffins this morning and I thought I would bring you guys one" I said with a smile on my face as I had my own in my hand. they seemed hesitant on trying the muffins but they tried them none the less "these are really good, you did good kid" Bokugou said as he ruffled my red locks as a big closed eyed smile presented itself on my face as I was happy that they liked them. I started to eat mine as well, I had eaten the bacon on my way to school so all I had was the muffin and I would finally have finished my breakfast. "So l/n" Bokugou said grabbing my attention as I looked up at him "you wanna join us for training after school?" He asked before taking a bite of his muffin. "I'd love to" I said as a smile graced my face as well as everyone else when I agreed. "We should all head to class now before we are late" everyone nodded with agreement before we headed inside "see ya guys after school" I said before parting ways to class 1-A.
