Story based off of picture above
For those who don't know Newsome and I, we both play Violin, I've been playing for 4 years now and Newsome for 3.
Our first concert every year after 5th grade is a 6th-12th grade concert where we all play two different songs that we have been practicing since we started the school year.
The concert was in late October, we were both Violin 2's (for non-musicans, that's like the background Violins, aka boring as heck.) We were waiting till the concert day to come, waiting to find out who we would sit next to, how far back we would sit within the two middle schools that came together to play.
It was about the week before our concert, our teacher put our concert seats and what stand we would be. Looking for our names and stands, we happened to see that they were next to eachother, sharing the same stand!
We felt bad for our teacher because we talk a lot.
The bad part about it was that we were stand 35ish, that was about 3 rows back.
It was bad for me and normal for Newsome. I like being in the front two rows and I am used to it. Newsome, on the other hand, is used to being in the middle-back rows.
Om the day of the concert, about half of the row we were in was empty, making it look weird to the audience. We played our songs, got back up, and went back to where our cases were.
Before we could, Newsome's mom was there, two bouquets of colorful flowers with balloons wrapped around them. She congratulated us on our performance and took pictures of us. (I'm the shorter one wearing black pants)
Newsome had to leave and we parted ways, me walking back to the other 7th graders, finding my friends and watching the rest of the concert on a SmartBoard.
Hope you enjoyed this little story! And no, you're probably not gonna get a face reveal for either of us for awhile.
Hope you have a great day/night!
